Maple Lake Chalet is a one-of-a-kind custom lake home in Buffalo, Minnesota, designed to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. From the striking tree-inspired banisters to the expansive lake views, this chalet-style retreat delivers a true Minnesota lake experience. With sleeping accommodations for up to 14 guests, multiple gathering spaces, and direct lake access, this home is ideal for large families and group getaways. Booking Requirements: • 30+ Night Stays may require a lease. If the stay will be paid in monthly installments, a lease will be required and a security deposit equal to one month's rent is due at signing. If the stay is paid in full at time of booking, no lease is required. • Security Deposit: A refundable $2500 security deposit may be required, depending on the length of the reservation.. The deposit is refunded within 5–7 days after checkout, assuming no damage or excessive cleaning. Payment (when applicable): ACH (no fee) or credit card (3% processing fee). Lease and security deposit requirements do not apply to Airbnb bookings. By booking, guests agree to this policy. • All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department, no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. No exceptions. (Please be aware that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.) • All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required. • Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation. • A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed, no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. This will require that you provide us with your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. • Discounts are valid only at checkout, are not retroactive, and cannot be combined with other offers. • All reservations are subject to the cancellation policy in place at the time of booking. Refunds outside of this policy are not guaranteed. • Minnestay is not responsible for travel delays or cancellations due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. • Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
House Rules: • Check in: 4pm; Check out: 10am. Check‑in and check‑out times must be followed unless early/late arrangements are approved and are subject to additional fees. • This is a smoke-free property (tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, vape, etc). There is no smoking allowed inside the property, on balconies/rooftop decks (Sable), or within 25 feet of the property. Fees will be assessed for smoking inside any part of the property, including common areas (Sable). • No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions. • Only homes specifically labeled “Pet Friendly” on the listing permit dogs; all other homes are strictly no-pet properties. Guests must notify the Minnestay team in advance if bringing a dog, and pet fees apply starting at $150. Most Pet Friendly homes allow a maximum of one dog unless otherwise approved. Certified Service Animals are welcome at all properties with prior notice; emotional support animals are not considered Service Animals under this policy. • This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well (does not apply to Sable). • Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able. • Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during stay. • Additional daytime or overnight visitors are not permitted without prior approval. • Please follow all posted instructions for fire pits, grills, hot tubs, saunas and other amenities that may be located on the premise. Guests are responsible for safe and proper use of all equipment. • All guests must comply with local ordinances, including noise, occupancy, and parking regulations. Any violation that results in fines or penalties may be passed on to the guest. • Guests are responsible for damages that occur during their stay. Claims will be handled in accordance with platform policies and the rental agreement. • Please do not move or rearrange major furniture (beds, sofas, tables, dressers, etc.). Damage caused by moving furniture may result in additional charges, and any labor required to return items to their original placement may incur a fee. • Minnestay is not responsible for noise, traffic, construction, or neighboring activity outside of the property’s control. As such, refunds will not be provided for noise-related disturbances. • Temporary interruptions of utilities, Wi-Fi, or streaming services may occur and do not qualify for refunds. • Quiet Hours: 10PM-8AM. We love our neighbors! Please be respectful of the permanent residents around this property. • Security cameras may be on site, located on the exterior or in the common areas (Sable) of the property. • Loss of any physical keys, key fobs(Sable), garage door openers and/or parking passes (Sable) will incur a fee. • Fines up to $2000 per violation may be accessed to anyone found breaking these rules.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.

Great lake house for bigger family!
Our family had a fantastic time at this home. Maple Lake was great for fishing, swimming and paddleboarding. We felt safe in this neighborhood and had plenty to do to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. There was a little delay in the communication using Vrbo messaging, but no urgent requests were needed on our end. We would definitely return back to this location!

Best of both worlds
This property on Maple Lake is a destination for all. If you live in the metro it is obviously close and yet you feel like you are way up North. The fishing on the lake is better than expected. The beach and up keep of property was superb. We had a couple glitches that were handled promptly. Overall a great experience.

July vacation
We loved our vacation. The house was perfect. The lake was gorgeous. We fished from the dock we brought our own boat. The amenities of the house were complete the teens enjoyed movie night while we played cards on the deck. We caught over 100 fish in our time at the house. The lake was like glass we were able to water ski and tube every single day. The weather was perfect. The proximity to the Twin Cities made the vacation complete. This is a very nice set up for anyone who is flying in to have a nice lake vacation.

We had a great time and the family too.
It was a nice stay, but there is somethings that i need to say. The AC does work but the AC make a very loud noise when it turn on and to the end the hot water smell terrible. .

Fabulous time at Maple Lake Chalet!
Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to our family. We had such a fabulous stay at Maple Lake Chalet! There were ten of us (ages 4-80+) enjoying a long weekend get-away and we could not be more pleased with the location, accommodations, weather, proximity to town and more! The home is beautiful (pictures don't do it justice) and there was so much attention to detail within the home and around the property. The kids spent the entire weekend fishing off the dock--which they loved. We even got to enjoy a beautiful bonfire with s'mores and a few amazing sunsets.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware and cookware. We also loved the basement with the comfy couch and large TV---perfect for a family movie night. We took full advantage of the space and all the things Maple Lake Chalet had to offer. Absolutely perfect!
