Everything was fantastic. My only nitpicks were that the bed in the front room was hella creaky and the fridge was cold enough to freeze our milk. Check in was easy and everything was very clean.

Stayed here for a week and wasn’t too bad till both me and the other person staying with me encountered bed bugs, we couldn’t figure out the reason why we were waking up with bites and itchiness. Till I discovered a bed bug. We never said anything cause the bed bug was discovered on our last day.

This is a great place in an amazing location if you are visiting Disney/Knotts Berry farm. Tons of restaurant/food options nearby and very close to the freeway which made it easy to navigate during our stay. This is also a great place to stay if you are out and about all day and just want a nice quiet place to sleep. The place has no living room or area to eat aside from outside area. I recommend that the host has a more comfortable bed as the bed in the first room was very loud and more on the uncomfortable side. The place is a great value especially for the location but is not the most comfortable place to lounge around.

I'm not one of those people who wants to make people look bad or anything like that. When we first arrived I had to scrub the toilet because there was poop in it and also stained bit around the bowl. Shower pressure was very weak and the beds need new mattresses. The one in the living room i sunk in deep on that bed which was uncomfortable. The bathroom for more than 2 people in this rental is not enough. The rooms did smell like sewage because I do believe there was a remodel but I do think that the smell is coming from the toilet wax ring that is at the bottom of the toilet which replacing that or fixing rhe seal will work wonders. Besides that the place is nice and cozy. Just needs to be looked after better. Thank you.

Great place for a sightseeing California trip

Me and my friends really enjoyed staying here for a weekend wedding, it was really close to the John Wayne airport and knots berry farm as well as plenty of fast food around and shopping

Comfortable, Great Location

Check in process was easy, Host was friendly and had great communication. The two rooms and bathroom were separated from other part of house to give you privacy. Great little place to stay. Thanks!

Room has Bed bugs

The communication was great however the property has bed bugs he sprayed while we were there and offered us another free night but my daughter received so many bites and we also seen the bed bugs on the sheets… it is however close to Disney, knott's berry farm, shopping and restaurants

Bit disappointing but functional

The owner was friendly, helpful and responsive and the check in process was smooth. But the quality of the place was disappointing. Water pressure low in the bathroom, mini fridge froze everything and there was an inexplicable moldy smell in the bathroom. Since I was out all day and only spent the nights there it was OK.

The place was not clean, the floors were filthy and according to the host it was because they were "remodeling". He brought us a mop so we could clean the floors but it was even dirtier than the floors. So that was a waste of time. Upon our arrival the AC was also turned off, the place was over 80 and some of the windows didn't close from the onsite of the unit. My husband had to go outside as I closed the latch from the inside. After coming back from family festivities we were exhausted and jetlagged, it was time to shower. Well.... No hot water. We contacted the host, he did show up to try to "fix the problem". I ended up falling asleep but my husband decided to go outside and get an update. Keep in mind this is close to midnight now and we have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. The update was that they had to shut the water off until they could get a plumber in the next day. So after being up for almost 23 hours, travelling and sweating my husband wouldn't even be able to shower and imagine if we all needed to use the toilet, we wouldn't be able to flush either. So needless to say, we left in the middle of the night and found a hotel. To say this was a disaster would be an understatement. Horrible experience. I wish I could give it a negative star. On the plus side - we got our money back, that was the least they could have done anyway.

The location was great, loved the motion outdoor lights and how quiet it was. As a host also, there are some things I would have preferred that can be upgraded such as the blow dryer, and a better iron. There were 4 of us and we were left 3 towels and 1 bathing towel, that’s one thing I always check when we I have guests to ensure that they don’t have to reach out for these simple things. Also a blanket since we are from Texas and it’s still hot for us and here it was a bit chilly. Those are basic items that should be thought of, communication was great at first but kind of fell through on the last day when we had a clogged toilet. I had to go buy one.

Two Australia on Holiday

We based our trip around this area for us it was perfect. We went north, south, east and west and did about 1000 Miles in 10 days.The Hoist was helpful and was there to shows in on the day we check in. He got rid of the old microwave and replace it with a new one and there was differently NO BED BUGS.The Accommodation was basic with the two rooms, the carpet was old but clean a little untried around the edge's. The bathroom was a good size and clean. The microwave fridge unit worked OK for us as we wear eating out. We where make our own breakfast most mornings and it was adequate for that.The sheet and towels were clean and the beds for me was comfortable.So definitely give him a try.

People were great!

The people were cool, even though the state department showed up for a house visit during our stay. The rooms really smelled bad, I had to go buy febreeze and candles to try and stand the smell. The beds were very uncomfortable. The people let us smoke out front their house but you have no privacy in the back yard area they provide. They keep their sliding doors open, nice people though.
