Lovely Lodge

A lovely lodge and well presented, ideal for our family stay. The lodge had everything we needed for our holiday and a nice homely feel. Will definitely be booking again.

Quiet getaway

This was a nice little getaway spot set in a peaceful location. The property had all you need and was within close proximity to Bude and was a good base to explore the area.

Great base for North Cornwall

We have just spent 5 nights in Penstowe and really enjoyed it. The chalet is great with a modern kitchen and bathroom and was spotless. It was a really great base for exploring Cornwall.

Lovely quiet location.

Stayed in the chalet with a family of 4.Lovely accommodation, very quiet and very well equipped.Indoor swimming pool on site with an unlimited entrance daily.Outdoor pool wasn't open at a time.A few miles away from a couple of gorgeous beaches.Very good communication with the host throughout our stay.Highly recommended!

Weekend away

Lovely chalet in a quiet and peacefull area, loved the location . The chalet was perfect and had an amazing shower. Would love to come again. Very clean and everything you need to make your time away stress free. Easy access to dog friendly beaches too.

Short stay

Property was very clean, well presented and in excellent condition. Was used as a base for the Wyldes festival but would also be perfect for day trips around Cornwall.

Great place to stay

Stayed with our teenager and small dog, easy check in and property was super clean. Everything included that we could need. It’s quite hilly and the paths were a little slippy in the wet (so take care). Car park is very close to the property. A great base for exploring North Cornwall/Devon, excellent value and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect for what we wanted, down for the weekend surfing, good price and all the amenities we needed, safe and good parking too, will use again if available, just make sure you have enough £1/£2 coins for meter £10 served us the weekend.

easy to find penstow park, chatel took a few mins to find but very clean and tidy good location 6 min drive to bude 12mins to widemouth beach, chalet better that it looked in the photos, wifi works ok not the fastest

Great location for activities

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The place is well equipped with a nice kitchen and 2 bed rooms. Just be mindful there are no facilities in the park and be prepared that you need coins for the electricity. The owner is very helpful and communicative before we arrived.

Kilkhampton Chalet

Small beach style chalet that we used for a week. Clean and in a good state of upkeep it is in a good location to explore both North Cornwall and North Devon. Very good communication with the host and a smooth check in and out process. The chalet comes with passes for the swimming pool / leisure centre on site (should it not be beach weather) plus there is a bar you can utilise with regular entertainment. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Fantastic stay

Very welcoming, very spacious and accommodating. Very clean and tidy. Little extras such as dvds and board games. Easy to find the property. Lots of amenities. Very chilled out stay and one happy baby too. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back 😊

Superschoon!

Dit huisje ligt op een park waar veel huisjes kriskras geplaatst zijn. Ons huisje lag verscholen tussen bossages en we konden het in eerste instantie dan ook niet vinden. De locatie en het klimaat zorgden er misschien voor dat het bij eerste binnenkomst wat muf rook. Maar het was verder helemaal spic&span! Het beddengoed rook heerlijk naar wasmiddel en ook de badkamer en keuken waren heel schoon. Het huisje is goed uitgerust, veel keukengerei en ook veel poetsmiddelen ;). Heerlijke bank! Het enige wat wat ons betreft beter kan is fijn meubilair om buiten te zitten. Het park heeft heel verschillende huisjes, sommigen oud, anderen heel mooi opgeknapt. Er is een restaurant in een oude mansion, waar ook gewerkt werd aan verfraaiing. Ook is er een zwembad (binnen). Dat was het wat ons betreft nét niet; niet zo'n fris water en ;je mocht er niet rennen, duiken of balspelen doen.

Accommodation was lovely modern and clean, quiet and peaceful. ideally located for where we needed to be visiting family in Stibb, although for others everything is really a car journey to shop etc and pub only serving food from food van on evenings which didn’t bother us but maybe people with younger children not much to do for them. As a family with older children this suited us and we would return.

Lovely chalet.

Lovely chalet, very clean and cosy. Annette was very welcoming and even offered to post a our phone charger we left behind to us. Kids enjoyed the games. Unfortunately there is no DVD player to play the dvds. And couldn't figure out how the WiFi worked. Other than that it had everything we needed for a lovely week. I would definitely stay here again. The site is under new management and are making lots of improvements the pool is great and king Arthur's had plenty of evening entertainment, great staff and lots to do for the kids including kids games, arcade and a party bus.
