My father and I stayed here when we were in Buckhannon for the annual Almost Heaven BBQ Bash BBQ competition. It was a very convenient location for our needs. It is an older single-wide mobile home, and the A/C is supplied by window units, but do not let that deter you. The interior is spacious and very clean and the window units work wonderfully to cool the entire inside area. It is incredibly clean inside and out with an abundance of towels and extra linens available, and we found the beds to be very comfortable. There is a firepit outside with wood and lighters available on the very spacious back porch. The host was always quick to respond anytime I reached out, and was very friendly. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Wonderful

We had a great time. Came there to get away from it all. Super cute place, sweet, small and simple. Had everything we needed and at a great price! We went to French Creek game farm, the fishpond behind it, Stonecoal Lake, we swam in the Buckhannon River, went to Audra State Park, and even to the Upshur County Recreational Park which was super nice. The teens and people running the pool and concession stand were so well mannered and kind. We had a wonderful time all around. We stopped at Stonewall Resort on the way home. Can’t wait to go back!!
