"We stayed here for 2 nights in the height of August - 3 of us in a family room (2 single beds downstairs and 2 on an upstairs mezzanine). There is no air conditioning but there were 2 fans, which were adequate. The room is very clean and very convenient for walking to the bus stop (which is free with a card from the accommodation) and only 10 mins walk from the railway station. Not a cheap place to stay - but nowhere is in Interlaken. Breakfast costs 25 Swiss Francs per person (which we did not...

"We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...

"The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend "

"We were in the loft Suite 580. It was perfect for a family with three teenagers. The deck view and accommodations were outstanding. Unfortunately, during our stay, it rained quite a bit, but overall, the suite was perfect for our family trip. We strongly recommend HOP!"

"Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance. Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests....

"We booked the Queen Deluxe rooms on the 7th to 14th floor. Our jaws literally dropped as we entered and saw the incredible view of the Jungfrau from our balcony. It was breathe taking. The room was very spacious, recently updated, modern, and clean. We found the beds to be comfy. There’s no AC here, but a tower fan was provided and we stayed comfortable with that and leaving the sliding door open to catch the mountain breeze. The only downside was the lack of friendliness among staff, especially the evening waitress who was snippy from the start. "I’m very impressed and satisfied with my stay . The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. The decorations and design is so vintage and I remembered some of the old pots and pans and iron displayed all over the lobby . The front desk staff were helpful and always smiling . The room was so cozy and clean . I had the beautiful view of the mountain and water . The breakfast buffet was awesome and delicious ! The servers were all accommodating , friendly , smiling , courteous....

"I usually try to stay close to whatever transport hub I’m using. But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean.
