"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "The parking on site is awful and the over spill car park is even more inconvenient and the walk to the hotel reception is treacherous if your wife is wearing heels. The maya blue spa is a waste of time, you will get an email to contact them I contacted them several times over a week not once was a call answered and left messages to call me back and to my surprise nobody called back this was for my wife’s birthday and she loves a spa. "Excellent staff, nothing was too much for them. They were always available if anything was needed and they were very friendly. However, concerning the room, there were lots of hair in shower & bathroom upon check in. Also on the bed sheets. Floor needs to be cleaned in both bathroom & bedroom, regularly. "Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return."

You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets.
