"The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES! "

"Lovely old fashioned room with a large single bed. Very comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room. All the staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious. I booked the hotel to use as a base to attend 3 race meetings. Cheltenham on the way up, Liverpool on day 2 and nearby Bangor-on-Dee on day 3. It worked out perfectly and I was even able to visit Wrexham as well, so no complaints from me. "

"Lovely stay here last weekend. Room had a nice canal view, it was clean and warm, bed comfortable with a nice cosy duvet. Pillows could have been a bit softer but I slept well, nevertheless. It was a lovely big room, tea and coffee provided.A nice modern bathroom with a walk in shower. Shampoo, shower gel and soap was all Dove products. Had a few problems getting the key card to work but otherwise I cant complain, Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and served nice and hot. Staff were...
