Liberty Cottage, Broadstairs

Liberty Cottage is a charming holiday home located in a quaint little street of traditional cottages, a friendly local pub, superb bakery and coffee shop, and yet all just a short distance for the white sandy beaches and bustling town centre of Broadstairs. The cottage has a lovely garden, designed by the Dutch landscape architect Piet Oudolf, with pebbles and rocks, beautifully planted with tamarisk, grasses, lavender and other sea loving plants, and with three different seating areas it is the ideal place for a relaxing drink or meal after a fun day exploring. It is the perfect family or couples holiday retreat and it is also pet friendly so you can bring your four - legged friend on holiday too! Broadstairs has so much to offer guests young and not so young. The Seven Bay beaches of Botany, Kingsgate, Joss, Stone, Viking, Louisa and Dumpton Gap, all offer different things - some are dog friendly, some child friendly, some great for surfers, other for photographers. The town itself has some lovely architectural buildings, lots of Dickens connections and some great cafes and restaurants. It has an amazing fish company with its own fleet of ships, where the catch of the day is sold every morning, and there is even a quirky small independent cinema.

Our stay at Liberty Cottage

We had a great stay at Liberty Cottage.We really liked the location despite being some distance from the sea. It was very comfortable and well equipped and the garden was lovely -Perfect for alfresco dining .

Christmas at the Seaside

House and garden are absolutely spectacular. The neighborhood is charming and within walking distance to the seaside. The house was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely surprise and the gas fireplace was a treat for cosy nights in. 10/10! I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay at Liberty Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liberty Cottage. The place is so comfortable, beautiful and well appointed with really good kitchen facilities and comfy beds. We enjoyed some nice walks in the local area and by the beach, but given it was January, the weather was definitely not on our side-- but the cottage itself was so cosy, warm and comfortable--so we also didn't mind staying inside. The cottage is on a lovely street, and we had some nice treats at the bakery as well as stopping into the pub for very good burgers and some nice chats with the pub landlords and locals. The folks at Keepers Cottages were really helpful and attentive. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
