"The room was fine but I found a bit of dust between the wooden boards and the ceiling and floor. Bedsheet was clean , pillows were not very comfy . Reception staff was nice. bathroom and shower were clean however there were some constant leaking water from the shower."

"Comfy easy access room with walk-in shower, very helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet given it was Eater Saturday night. EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."

"Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."

"The receptionist that checked us in was very abrupt and rude. We only got answers after a more senior receptionist was involved and could answer our questions. The biggest issue was that we paid for breakfast for 2 because Expedia clearly states that this is served daily from 06.30 and we had to be on our way by 07.10. We were informed that this information was wrong and the senior receptionist was only able to give some fruit, an energy bar, a yoghurt and croissant! This is not worth £19.50...

"The owner collected us from the airport bus station, £15 for the 3 of us. Our room was adequate with 3 beds however the shower room was very good. Looked like it was recently refurbished. One issue was the shower head was loose. The room temperature was decent and the beds clean and comfortable though new pillows are needed as they are pretty thin. Also the scatter cushion covers need a wash. The location is great for Gatwick Airport and a reasonable price. "
