The host is very attentive and check in was very easy. The issue we have with this property is the location which is not in the control of the host. The property was basic and clean. As another review states, if you know the neighborhood then you know what to expect. So, if someone does not know the neighborhood, check Google Earth to see more of the surrounding streets and buildings. In addition, the listing says "Parking on site" but the only parking was the street. We did not stay and found other accommodations.

Pictures not reflective of neighborhood

Unless you know this neighborhood well, I would not recommend staying here. Upon arrival, we realize this was not somewhere we were comfortable staying. At the time there was also nowhere to park along the street whatsoever, and we were not notified we could not park in the driveway. We never even went inside and decided to find lodging elsewhere. The host refused to refund any monies, not even the cleaning fee.Additionally, it is not an entire home, but a duplex.

This location was not what expected. I was concerned about leaving my car on the street after a man came up to us on the street wishing us a “Happy New Year” (in the middle of June). There were people setting off fireworks at night for over 2 hours while we were trying to sleep. There was no microwave. They left a roll with 4 paper towels in the kitchen with no extra. The trash can lid was broken so we just left it off instead of having to touch the lid each time we needed to throw something away. The place was clean enough.

Affordable and flexible host!

This place on Vrbo was great! I was worried about the comments that I had read about the house itself. The house was clean and had a very nice decoration. I had a bit of a problem finding the correct building and parking, but overall, I would stay here again, Ivette was a great host!

Very Disappointed

I definitely don’t recommend anyone book this property. This is my first bad experience with VRBO. I was very disappointed with the property and disappointed with how I was treated as a VRBO guest. I booked this property for 5 nights for my daughter, son-in-law and their two children. They left after one night because of poor condition of the property. The property was shabby in appearance. There were holes in the wall that had been patched but not painted. Electrical switches without a cover and other electrical equipment that did not look installed properly. There were lights that flickered. My son-in-law did not feel his car was safe parked on the street in the neighborhood. I let the host know that they were moving out the next morning after just one night and asked for some credit for the 4 nights that they did not stay there. She did not respond immediately. When I asked again, she stated that there would be no credit. I talked with VRBO representatives twice and they told me they would send an email to the host and see what they could do. The host’s final word after VRBO sent the host an email is no credit would be issued. I am still in talks with VRBO.

Bridgeport Stay

The place was listed as described. The floors were very clean and shiny. The kitchen could use a wee tad improvement such as a microwave and some extra counter or table space. The dishes were very nice but a larger pot to cook in and a few more cooking utensils would have been nice ie. a cooking spatula, colandar and a cooking fork. It was nicely decorated tho and sofa couch was nice and comfortable too!

Our stay was amazing , Ivette was available the whole time for anything we needed. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again !

Bridgeport trip

We were in town for a music festival and found this place just in time. It was perfect and exactly what we needed. The place was very clean and Ivette was a great host, she thought of everything we might need and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Checking in and out was very easy and convenient and the location was an easy drive or uber ride to Seaside park and many restaurants around Bridgeport. We enjoyed our stay!
