With walking distance to both town and the gondola, along with a free shuttle service, your group will have no problem accessing everything the Breckenridge community has to offer! Mountain Thunder is equipped with new hardwood floors, updated countertops, a gas fireplace, and beautiful finishes for a pristine and cozy place to wind down after a powder day or summer hike. Your group will have access to a plethora of amenities, including hot tubs, an outdoor heated pool*, gas grills, and access to fitness rooms, a steam room/sauna, and two-lane bowling alley at One Ski Hill Place located at the base of Peak 8.

LIVING ROOM
The living area is a great place to relax and enjoy the evening with friends or family including a gas fireplace and flatscreen TV. The couch is a pull-out queen size sleeper sofa.

We provide enough supplies for a typical weekend stay. This includes paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap and a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent for a few loads, hotel-style bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap, plus extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also provide fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels.

This unit has access to community amenities including a heated pool & hot tub.

nice location

We stayed at Mountain Thunder Lodge for 2 weeks in March. The best thing about this place is it's location as it's an easy walk to dt Breck. Please be aware that directions for mountain access were not included anywhere in the condo - Ski out- we walked to the Gondola taking the underground pedway and ski in take 4 oclock to the gondola run. The lodge itself was a little "rough around the edges". There was mold in the master bath and the other bath did not drain properly to the point that my kids were standing in water when showering. Despite the fact that we stayed a 2nd week, the Rental company did not replenish the toilet paper and paper towels which we thought was a bit unusual. The condo needs a little extra TLC- we were there for spring break and there were still Christmas decorations up. Lastly, the rental company never contacted us to inquire on anything. This was unusual for us given that we have been coming to Breck annually and have had a complete different experience. Nevertheless, we still had a great trip and made lots of memories.

Awesome pre-Christmas week at Breckenridge!

Perfect condo for family of 5 adults and college students! Lots of space and places to hang and stash your ski gear. Much larger than expected with tons of closet and drawer space. The heated garage setup was perfect for our skis and boots. Location to gondola and ski in slope is amazing. Very clean and well-stocked unit plus decorated so cute - mountain lodge at holiday time! Management very responsive and communicative! We will be back!!

Great stay!

Property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Very close to grocery store, shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area. We didn’t use any of the amenities so no comment on those.

Wonderful vacation condo!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Super comfortable and equipped with anything you need. Excellent location. I am a VRBO owner/host and have high standards in a rental. This place did not disappoint. It’s a wonderful condo and I highly recommend it.

Debar 2024 Breck Ski Trip

Entire family met at condo for family ski trip. Son drove up from US Air Force Academy, another son flew in fro Ohio, and the rest of us flew in from NC. Had a great time, condo was ideally located and easy ski in and out.

Breckenridge Getaway

This was our first time staying at Mountain Thunder and we were very impressed! Everything was exactly as stated. The master bedroom is all we used and the bed was very high, it would be helpful to have some steps to help get in. 😂 But we made it work. 😊 It was a beautiful location and close to main street, so that was nice. We enjoyed our time here!

Great stay!

This property was wonderful for our trip! Great location, and very clean and updated unit. We had a few minor maintenance things that needed to be fixed when we arrived, and management had them fixed within an hour of us calling. Management was super helpful and responded very quickly to any communications we had with them! Thanks for a great stay!

This condo has a fabulous location which allows perfect walkability to town. Plenty of towels, bedding, pillow options. Could use a deep cleaning. Back patio was particularly dirty, weedy, etc. Didn't even consider sitting outside given the condition. Close proximity to both hot tubs and the pool. Primary bath sink was pretty stopped up - didn't drain well at all. Management company was notified. Kitchen sufficiently equipped.

Nice townhome near town

We loved the proximity to town as it’s easily a quick 3-5 min walk to main street from this location. The place was clean, had all the amenities we needed, was well maintained on the inside and it was very nice having garage access overnight– plus the community pool was heated. A couple issues we had during our stay was on the very first evening the refrigerator and freezer temperature start climbing to unsafe levels for food and all our food was ruined in the fridge and items had melted in the freezer. We have a toddler so every morning that meant us having to go to the grocery store for new milk and food. We immediately contacted the maintenance staff, and they brought over a wine fridge the next morning which also ended up not working so during our entire stay we had no working refrigerator or freezer and we had to end up eating out most meals or going to the grocery store before each meal which was not ideal since we rented the place to utilize the kitchen and make meals there. We ended up getting refunded for some food we had to purchase, but it really put a damper on the entire trip since we had to stress about it even though it was a uncontrollable issue. The last point I would mention that has not been brought up in previous reviews is that this unit is on the first floor and the unit next door has the upper floors. Our first night we could hear all the footsteps right above us which was also not ideal for light sleepers.
