Experience a serene waterfront getaway at our Suwannee River home, complete with a private dock perfect for fishing, boating, and water activities. Take a leisurely stroll through nature or lounge on the huge deck that offers breathtaking views of the water. Gather around the cozy fire pit with family and friends for a memorable evening under the stars. The home is conveniently located on an asphalt road, so you won't have to worry about navigating through dirt roads. Additionally, you can park your vehicle under the raised house and porch, which can accommodate vehicles up to 7' high. Inside, you'll find a clean and comfortable interior with two bedrooms and a futon in the living room that can comfortably sleep up to six guests. The home is also in close proximity to several towns that offer grocery and dining options. And if you're up for exploring the area by boat, a boat ramp is just a quarter-mile away. With easy access to all the springs in the area, whether by boat or car, this waterfront retreat is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation.

Great location.....has everything we needed and was perfect for us... and most places i have stayed they didnt offered the grill stuff but even had propane filled and a back up 1 just incase 1 ran out ....the morning view was breathtaking on the river i will definitely stay again.....! And had exta things just incase... and if there was something going on jeff respond very quickly. And when u stay in someone home its nice to have a quick response....anyways thanks again and we will return very soon...!

East weekend with family

This is our 2nd time staying here during Easter weekend and will hopefully continue to be a tradition. My sister and I, along with our 4 boys (ages 8-14) absolutely love the peace and quiet. The home is always so clean, has everything you could need. When originally booking I mixed up the dates and was off by a day. When I requested to chage it to the dates we needed, the ower was great and responded quickly and had no problems with doing so. When we went to leave, we had a flat tire and ended up having to stay an hour or so longer after checkout and, I contacted the owner and they were very accommodating.The views are beautiful, we saw a manatee, several hawks and many other birds. Great place to stay! Hope we can do it again next year.

The BEST Easter weekend

My sister and her 2 kids along with myself and my two kiddos were lucky enough to enjoy good family time together over Easter weekend. We had the BEST time, the river level was up but that certainly didn't stop us from enjoying it, so dont let that detour you. It was SUPER clean, peaceful, quiet and had everything you could possibly need. My sister and I loved this home and look forward to visiting again soon.💙

Disappointed

We found the rental to be somewhat "Tired." There were many cobwebs on the windows and stains on the carpets. The stains were covered up with small rugs and blankets, we tripped over the several times. The kitchen window was so full of cobwebs my wife decided to clean them off. The water from the tap had a very strange smell The situation on the river is beautiful, but the rental did not match.

Great stay on the Suwannee

We used Butterfly Crossing as home base for. Kayak trip from Branford to Fanning Springs. It was a perfect location. The house and property were clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch and dock in the evenings and in the mornings. We liked that there was an open porch but also a screen porch as well. Great stay. Thanks BigJeff!

Great Family Weekend getaway!!!!!

We really enjoy our weekend at the Butterfly crossing!!! It was really comfortable! Lots of room for the family to move about. Beautiful seating and family space outside on the balcony. Beautiful view!! Everyone enjoyed the fishing on the river. Awesome memories made!!!

Absolutely loved our stay !! Old Florida on the Suwannee. Not fancy a rustic appeal and clean. We loved the view of the river and evenings around the fire pit. We docked our boat and couldn’t ask for a better host!

Waterfront RV

Great central location to all the good springs. Boat ramp right next to store 1 mile away. Easy to find. everything was clean and worked. parking was tight with trailer but works. Nice big dock and deep water but flows fast. Great stay.

Short Trip

The place was great. It's right on the river. To bad the river was high and we didn't have a chance to go on the huge dock. The house has huge upstairs balcony to entertain. The home is kept very clean, everything works. I've been to other properties and the ac doesn't work, problems with heating etc. Very close to the local minimart and gas station. If you have a boat, the ramp is a block away. Would recommend it again and pan to go back soon. It's better than the listing !
