"We enjoyed our stay at the New Haven Hotel. The staff was helpful, friendly and easy to talk to. The room and property were very clean. Hotel was situated in a very good location in New Haven."

"The pillows was no good.. they was old and flat and small.. the pillows gave me a cramp in my neck. Because they was so flat"

"Great"

"It was a good location. Would be nice to have coffee for guest in the morning - no one really likes to make it in the room."

"I saw someone else write a review that said it was weird the curtains didn't go all the way down in the window area and they were right, which was a bit odd... Also the doors to the rooms are HEAVY! You can hear them slamming in the night while trying to sleep and it's no one's fault, they just automatically slam due to their weight. "Excellent stay Clean Lobby, room and breakfast area. Staff were very Friendly and helpful."

"The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Mold in the corners of the shower was off-putting. Staff was ok, not overly friendly or engaging"

"Hotel that allows smoking says it all"

"Easy check in, good price, clean room, nice lobby with a bar on site if you would like a drink. Very friendly and attentive staff and a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. Pool was great and gym is small but has everything you would need to get in a good workout to start your day ."

"They were making improvements to the property so it’s only going to get better there."

"Our family has been using American Inn in Branford, CT as a rest stop to visit my wife's mother in New Hampshire. It is a short trip (under 2 hours) to get a head start out of the New York metro area after evening rush hour. All rooms are accessed from the outside right in front of your parking space. They have two queen beds and rooms are always clean... and the price is right 😉 It is perfect for our trip!"

"All in all a good stay, well maintained property and comfortable space. Will plan to stay there again in the future"
