Booking now - Summer 2025 Enjoy peaceful Miller Lake in our cozy little cabin.

The cabin sits in deep shade with a beautiful view of secluded Miller Lake. It is located 5 miles NW of Garrison MN and sleeps 4-5 comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and dressers for clothing storage. Open floor plan features living room (queen sofa sleeper) and kitchen with dishes/glassware, pots & pans, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker etc. Gas & charcoal grill provided. 1 Bathroom (REMODELED/enlarged 2020-pics do not do justice) w/ cool round shower--no tub. A wood burning stove is the only source of heat in the cabin, wood is provided.

Wi-fi, TV with ROKU and DVD player. Property is treated through the summer for mosquitos.

The cabin DOES NOT have cable, laundry, air conditioning --the cabin stays cool in the summer due to the shade. Ceiling fan and bedroom fans are provided.

**Please bring your own beach towels, paper products etc.

Activities: 2 kayaks provided, paddling around the lake in the pontoon paddleboat, row boat, stand up paddle board, swimming, fishing, hiking and of course relaxing! Outdoor fire pit- lots of wood provided for toasting marshmallows and sitting around the campfire. Listen for the loons and barred owls. Go see the eagle's nest at the south end of the lake. Gated launch available for your own boat. NEW dock May 2022, NEW deck and gas grill!

Nearby attractions: Garrison - restaurants, grocery, liquor store, bait shop (3 miles), Garrison VFW -- Thur BINGO, Fri -- Meat Raffle, Brainerd- bike trail, arboretum, theaters, Safari North Wildlife Park, Brainerd International Raceway (20 miles), breweries, launch fishing on Mille Lacs Lake, Grand Casino (15 miles), 4 golf courses nearby, Rogers Berry Farm (1 mile) has u-pick blueberries when in season. Pickleball is free at Rutgers- 6 outdoor courts (6 miles). Crosby (12 miles) is a great little town with pickleball courts, many restaurants, a wine bar, brewery, cute little shops and a Super One grocery store. Don't miss Macdaddy's Donut garage in neighboring Ironton. For more activities there is trail biking and the iron ore pits.

This Miller Lake Cabin was a little slice of heaven. It sits next to Miller Lake, which is a gem-the water is clear and calm, and the lake is surrounded by beautiful trees. It was great for swimming or going out in the provided kayaks and pedal pontoon. The cabin is also charming, with a well-equipped kitchen (we did a lot of our own food prep and had everything we needed). We enjoyed the views of the lake from the kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom has a great shower.It is a very peaceful and quiet setting, perfect for a week of rest and rejuvenation, including meals on the deck, sitting on the sunny dock, or napping under the shade trees (all of which we did). There’s also a family of loons that resides on the lake and they’re the cherry on top for this perfect Minnesota getaway location!The owners, Rick and Cindy, are very welcoming and make you feel at home. They were very responsive to our needs, and they accommodated a special request for us. The property and gardens are beautiful, and it was nothing but a pleasure to be there.We definitely would love to go back!

Time with family

Such a nice location to enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning or your glass of wine in the evening on the deck or down by the lake. Very quiet and laid back. We really enjoyed our stay.

My buddy and I stayed there for a golf weekend. It was very quite, Rick was very helpful and it is a very charming cabin on a very charming lake.If he'll have me back, i plan to bring my wife there for a nice extended weekend stay.

Not for old people or people with any disabilities.

To close to the host! Hard to get your belongings in the cabin, as was too many steps. Sign says Please do not drive or park on the grass. The host was always out in the yard doing yard work or using leaf blower and cutting wood. We are in our 80’s.The place was given a 10 and said exceptional. Needs more info. on information. He did help us unpack, but not when we left, supplied us with wood for the stove. Kayaks were out two days and then he put them away.

Perfect place to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary.

Very peaceful area & adorable cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, paddle boating, kayaking, fishing, listening to the Loons & watching the Eagles. We found the Eagle's nest. At the end of our adventurous days we relaxed around the fire.

Great stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was perfect. My husband used the paddle pontoon every morning to fish. Rick helped us make a fire one night that was great. We sat on the rockers at the end of the dock each day just enjoying the lake. It was truly a cozy and comfortable cabin. It was easy to find and close to things to do. Rick and Cindy are very nice and have a lovely place. Thank you for a great stay.

Peaceful fishing spot

This place was beautiful. So much shade! Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the lake or fish from the dock. Paddle pontoon was so fun. Loons and eagles were cool to watch. Bass fishing was great. Caught several pike and lots of sun fish. Hosts were super nice! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet fishing spot or a peaceful place to relax and read a book. Word of advice though: bring mosquito repellant! If you make sure & wear it you'll be fine but if you forget it they can be bad.

Peace and quiet

We enjoyed our Mom/Sister extended weekend getaway. We caught lots of fish paddling around the lake on the peddle pontoon. This was also a great location close to our favorite shops in Nisswa and Brainerd. Rick and Cindy are great hosts and have a beautifully maintained property.

A Time-Out in Lake Country, Minnesota!

3 hrs away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and their bedroom communities, we enjoyed a tranquil week at this jewel of a lake cottage! This served as our base of operations for forays to Brainerd, Baxter, Crow Wing State Park, Crosby, Garrison/Lake Mille Lacs and to Lake Itasca for a view of the headwaters of the Mississippi River. We rode bicycles on the Paul Bunyan State Trail! We sat in the rocking chairs our hosts, Rick & Cindy had so thoughtfully put on the dock! We soaked up the sun, fished/caught fish, saw otters swim by the dock, watched a hawk/osprey catch a fish from the lake, and listened to acorns fall from the oak trees and used the host's paddle pontoon for a short float on the lake. The cottage was charming, tidy and comfortable. There was a well-outfitted kitchen, a great hot shower, picture windows for picturesque views of the lake and a wood stove with wood to heat the cottage! We like woodstoves and campfire! It reminded us of some camps and cottages we've stayed at in the U.P. of Michigan, the Snowies of Wyoming, and Missouri's Ozarks! Places where you could get back in touch with Nature and back in touch with family and self! Thanks again to our hosts for sharing this oasis with us! We would like to return and bring our grandson with us next time!

Amazing and Quiet

The photos do not do this property justice. This property is exceptionally well-kept and stocked with everything you need. The cabin sits on an incredibly clean private lake with some great fishing. The owner is super friendly. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing lake-side cabin 10 minutes from a grocery store and a bait shop, this is it. Great family room, two nice bedrooms with closets and dressers, kitchen stocked with everything you need, and a new, clean bathroom. I can't believe we were so lucky to be able to enjoy this property for a week. Incredible.
