"We stayed here for 2 nights in the height of August - 3 of us in a family room (2 single beds downstairs and 2 on an upstairs mezzanine). There is no air conditioning but there were 2 fans, which were adequate. The room is very clean and very convenient for walking to the bus stop (which is free with a card from the accommodation) and only 10 mins walk from the railway station. Not a cheap place to stay - but nowhere is in Interlaken. Breakfast costs 25 Swiss Francs per person (which we did not...

"The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. "We were in the loft Suite 580. It was perfect for a family with three teenagers. The deck view and accommodations were outstanding. Unfortunately, during our stay, it rained quite a bit, but overall, the suite was perfect for our family trip. We strongly recommend HOP!"

"Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance. Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests....

"We booked the Queen Deluxe rooms on the 7th to 14th floor. Our jaws literally dropped as we entered and saw the incredible view of the Jungfrau from our balcony. It was breathe taking. The room was very spacious, recently updated, modern, and clean. We found the beds to be comfy. There’s no AC here, but a tower fan was provided and we stayed comfortable with that and leaving the sliding door open to catch the mountain breeze. "The breakfast buffet stands out in the memory as being plentiful and extensive. The staff were attentive and friendly and constantly replenishing the items. The only downside was the lack of friendliness among staff, especially the evening waitress who was snippy from the start. "This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous.
