Clean, air-conditioned, newly renovated studio suite perched on a bluff with stunning views out to the turquoise water on the east side of Grand Turk. The Lookout is a secluded beachfront property - a rustic path meandering 75 yards down to the beach takes you from your front door to the beautiful sand and sea!
Enjoy the consistent ocean breeze that the east side of Grand Turk has to offer, while you keep a lookout for whales or watch the Osprey glide by.

The Beachcomber is a studio unit with a full bathroom, queen size bed, queen sofa bed, breakfast bar and kitchenette. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and double hotplate to make preparing meals at home an easy option.
It is a downstairs / ground floor studio apartment with WiFi, satellite TV and air-conditioning for your comfort.

Very pleasant vacation spot!

My partner and I stayed at the Beachcomber (part of Grand Turks Rentals) for one week and we fell in love with the place, the people and our hosts. We were specifically looking for a more "hands-on" experience where we'd cook our own meals make our own drinks and it came with the reward of secluded empty beaches… all to ourselves with absolutely no one around 95% of the time. Whichever beach we chose to visit, whether it was the one 75 yards away from the property or Governor's Beach or Norman Saunders Beach, we felt like we were the only humans alive on Grand Turk Island. If, like us, you crave moments of true relaxation, solitude, away from the noise of all-inclusive resorts, if you love a peaceful holiday, and beaches with sand so fine you think you dug your feet into a bag of flour (or the moon), look no further, book this property immediately—or any of Lucy and Nate's other properties: Eagle's Nest, Corktree Beach House, we were told there is also another one on the way soon: The Santa Clara Cottage. We chose the Beachcomber (studio) precisely because there was only the two of us and we knew we'd spend most of our days outside anyways. Turks and Caicos get 350 days of sunshine per year so we weren't going to stay indoors anyway. We were amazed by how well-equipped and how pristinely kept the apartment. Full-sized fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, air con, 4G WiFi, TV set, DVD player, Satellite TV, which made our lives much easier. Our host Lucy was extremely responsive and helpful via WiFi text messaging throughout our stay and was phenomenal finding a way to help us with every request. We were lucky enough to meet Lucy's partner and co-owner Nate who was just as equally excellent in making sure our stay was impeccable. We woke up one morning to a punctured tyre and Nate rushed to the local hardware store to get us some fix-a-flat foam can, which saved our day... and the rest of our week. Lucy and Nate collective level of care was unmatched. The PDF guest binder they provided was comprehensive, clear and 100% helpful. Make sure to rent a compact car or a golf cart, which are street legal) to get around the 7 mi (11 km) long island and open up your options for beaches around the island and allow you to go to Cee's Market (local supermarket) to go buy food. We couldn't possibly recommend this property more and we will absolutely consider coming again in the future. Thank you a thousand times Lucy and Nate.

First off let me start by saying how amazing Lucy and Nate are! Nate was in town the week of our stay and was SUPER helpful. Nate and Lucy took their time to assist us multiple times!!! Truly the nicest host I have ever experienced while traveling. The property is beautiful! It is a little further out from town, but the island is small and after two days you'll know your way around everywhere and things won't seem as far away. Almost impossible to get lost lol The property was clean and enough space for a couple or small family stay. There is a walkway to the beach...you have to walk a little ways down, but the walk is worth it once you see the view. Bed and couch was comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and has a closet you can store your clothes and belongings. Can't stress how nice this property is and how nice the host were to me and my boyfriend. I will definitely return to Grand Turks and would definitely stay at this property again. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you so much Nate and Lucy!!! Highly recommend this stay.

The property itself was wonderful. The owners and property manager were great. The house was perfect except for the location. It’s not the owners fault that the island has gotten bad since covid shut the cruise center down. Again, the house was great.
