"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. The decision was made...

"We did not stay at this hotel as when we went to check in the hotel advised that they were double booked and they had arranged an alternative hotel. When we got to the alternative hotel the rooms were not ready and it was 7.45pm before we finally got into our room. "This was our first trip to the UK and first Premier Inn experience. The room was perfectly fine and the free parking and location was perfect to visit Ormskirk and Southport. The free internet was adequate for using maps and googling information for the trip. Did not have to pay for an Internet upgrade "
