Enjoy the continuing bee theme as it unfolds throughout the space – from built-in hexagon furniture to bee decor, honey-colored accents, and adorable buzzing bees. Weary and hungry travelers not yet ready to make a meal can indulge in a snack from the kitchen table.

Watch your favorite movies, shows, and sports on the 55" Samsung 4K TV via Apple TV with host-provided PLEX server (980+ movies on personal server) – plus cable channels. You can also access popular streaming services with your own log-ins. Content delivery is supported by super-fast Verizon Fios 1gbps (wireless speed in the Hive averages around 650 Mbps). Those with remote work needs will appreciate both the Wi-Fi and the provided workspace with a desk and executive office chair.

Steps away, prep and cook your best culinary creations in the well-equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator, 2-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, dishwasher, and a good selection of small appliances – waffle-maker, hand-mixer, blender, crock pot, rice cooker, and toaster. Parties of 4 guests will have use of the bedroom and sleeper sofa, which folds out into a full-size bed.

Parties of 3 guests will have the bedroom and a twin rollaway bed so the sofa remains accessible for watching TV and relaxing.

Guest access
The Hive is a private apartment on the bottom floor of the host’s 4-story house. You have access to everything in the apartment; one door in the kitchen is locked on both sides because it connects to the main house. Guests have a patio outside the apartment for their use, but the fenced backyard is off-limits.

No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with a digital keypad.

Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available in the apartment’s private driveway exclusively for guest use; the EV charger is located here.

You’ll be close to Boston (21.1 miles), Salem, New Hampshire, historical sites in Concord, Franklin Park and Stoneham Zoo, Museum of Science, Boston Museum of Art, Lowell Mills, Boston Freedom trail, and many colleges for touring and graduation. See the Location tab for more.

Hosts live in the adjoining house, so potential for noise exists.

A security camera is installed at the Hive’s entrance and records the driveway and entrance area.
