The staff is not trained, the Manager Desiree' is dismissive, and during my 4 week stay- I had to call maintenance to fix the shower door 3x- as it would not close, which caused flooding to the bathroom & kitchen floor. The toilet wouldn't flush my first week, the garbage disposal needed to be repaired once during the 4 weeks. Housekeeping only cleaned once/week at my request- but never gave replacement kitchen towels or paper towels or bed linens. Dish washing powder is only at the front desk. The bartender/food server in the restaurant was very rude & angry to me.The only employee who knew the front desk, in addition go, great customer service- was Oscar.
The 1st shift Manager Desiree' has horrible customer service skills. She told me today, before checkout- that I was being charged an additional $150 fee for checking out late at 4:00p.m. One night, the key card reader was not working. The 3rd shift - are not trained & have no idea what to do in an emergency. I waited one and 1/2 hours- 11:30 pm to 1:00 am- in the hotel hallway- waiting for someone to "learn online"- how to repair a key card reader on a hotel door.
I spent a lot of money on a full service hotel- with employees that ARE NOT TRAINED. This hotel needs 1 general manager or an owner to Supervise AND Train the staff. I was told there was a 1st shift manager & 2nd shift manager. Who is the property manager? I could give them a LIST of what the staff does not know. Staff must speak English. Bilingual at least.
