Lovely 1.5 bedroom in the great historic town

You are welcome to the cozy first floor apartment of two families house with 1 bedroom and an additional room that can be used as a kids bedroom or office. Large living room outfitted with a large 60” flat screen and relaxing electric fireplace, dining table. Small kitchen and single bathroom.The apartment is the traditional New England style that it doesn’t have light switches. There are the floor lamps in living room, bedrooms and a light switch in kitchen.

You share the hallway and laundry room with a very friendly tenant at second floor and her friendly dog.

Great location, very clean and well furnished. Short walk to the heart of town was great for being in the mix but still in a quiet area by the water. Parking was convenient and the host was friendly and professional at all steps.

Tina was a great host - very responsive and accommodating! The house is about 1.2 miles to town, which was walkable for me but also just a cheap uber/lyft ride if I didn’t want to walk. I feel like I have to disclose to my fellow easily-overstimulated-by-noise friends - bring earplugs. As disclosed in the listing, there is an upstairs tenant and her dog. The house is older so it makes a lot of random creaking / knocking noises and you can hear every step the upstairs tenant or her dog made, their water running, walking down the stairs, etc. There was nothing to contact the host about to fix, because the tenant was simply just living, but it is worth noting that people who are extra sensitive to noise and get anxious from it would benefit from bringing earplugs.

Everything about the arrival and check in was seamless. The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. Ideally located within a mile of all the historic sites and restaurants. Tina was an amazing host, including extra attention to help my wife and I celebrate our anniversary. Would stay again in a moment.

The apartment is perfectly located within a short walking distance from Salem touristy attractions. The place is like a like a home also - nice sized two bedroom really, full kitchen and living quarters. Very comfortable for our stay.

We stayed here for our first visit to Salem. Our stay was far more excellent than we even expected it to be. Tina is a very communicative and accommodating host. We had everything we needed, including extra fresh towels, coffees and snacks, and AC. The dishware in the kitchen cabinets was clean and cute. The house was very clean when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this rental and would stay again. Thank you!

The place is cute and cozy. Also, not far from a beautiful view of the water. It is located in the nicest, quietest neighborhood. Host was very responsive and sweet. Its a 0.9 mile walk to the middle of everything and a block or so away from The Hocus Pocus House.

This little apartment was perfect for my visit to Salem. It's clean and just roomy enough. With a full kitchen and comfy beds it feels like home. It has its own parking area, too, which is a big bonus. It's within driving or walking distance to all the attractions but just far enough away to provide a quiet place at the and of the day. Check in and check out were simple. The owner responds to messages in a timely manner and was a big help when I hit a snag while trying to connect to the wifi. Overall, a fantastic experience! I would definitely book another stay.
