"The house was beautifully situated with incredible views and comfortable furnishings. It was perfect for our group of 6 —a mix of family and friends—as we explored Iceland for the first time. We loved getting to know Borgarnes and the Settlement Center. The drive to Reykjavík was a little longer than we expected but it wasn’t prohibitive for our plans. "This place is a gem! The pods are not huge but very cozy - more than what we needed. Finding the place was easy and staff was super nice. Parking is right next to your pod. You will need to bring your beddings or you can rent there for a fee. The little hiking trail right next to it and the wifi/common area was a nice plus, and the spa too! The restaurant offers an amazing view and their breakfast is very decent. A small problem we had was that the washrooms did run out of toilet papers...

"This was an older hotel that was so charming. The staff was very friendly, the scenery was beautiful and I truly loved watching the owner work the horses in the ring with her loyal dog right there. Breakfast was amazing, waffle maker worked perfect. I requested another comforter and it was in my room within 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Wonderful location just 45 minutes from Reykjavic. It is certainly out in the countryside, but it was nice and quiet. 20 mins to a grocery store and the kitchen was equipped enough for our breakfasts we made at home before heading out for the day. Very clean, and the hot tub was great. No issues whatsoever. "

"Great stay! The house was conveniently close to Borgarnes in a beautiful location and had everything we needed. What made it especially unique was that it included two separate houses, which worked perfectly for our group. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck and hot tub at the main house — a perfect setup for relaxing and hanging out. The home was well equipped, and the owners provided clear instructions and lots of helpful information that made everything super easy. Would definitely...

"Das kleine Cottage hatte für uns alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Der private Hot Tub vor der Tür war wunderbar für den Abend. Wir waren vor allem auf der Halbinsel Snaefellsnes unterwegs, aber haben auch das Perlan-Museum in Reykjavik besucht."

"We loved our stay - right in the water! Views were amazing, kitchen was well stocked and the rooms comfortable. There are only 3 bedrooms though - but plenty of beds. We had one upset teen who had to sleep in the family room which was a bummer. But the house is nice and the private guest house was a great quiet space. "

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "
