Solitude @ The Offshore House

Solitude is one of three modern and brand- new spaces designed to provide guests with all the comforts of home. These three rooms are part of a bigger house (The Offshore House) that is currently undergoing renovations and will be ready for rentals later this year. To access the room, there is a private hall entrance and each room has a coded door lock. Once inside, you will find a king bed with soft nautical linens and plush pillows making it a perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. At the other end is a sectional couch and a large wall mounted smart TV that can be seen from the bed or sofa. The room also comes equipped with an efficiency kitchen allowing you to prepare coffee, toast or other easy appetizers if you choose to stay in. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig Coffee machine, utensils and basic dishware. The private bath is spacious and sparkling clean, featuring a large walk in shower, mirror, heat lamp and great lighting. Fresh towels and hand soap are provided but don't forget to bring your personal toiletries. There is a shared laundry room (shared by two other rooms) just down the hall that has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board as well as laundry soap for your convenience. Our location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area without being in the hustle of the harbor traffic. Located near the rotary, guest can walk to the farmers market on Thursdays or to some of the best fried fish houses in town. We are also a very short drive to the Botanical Gardens and nature preserves. Seabed, Solitude or Shipwright are fantastic options for anyone seeking a modern, comfortable and convenient location to rest your head while exploring all the treasures of Boothbay Harbor and beyond.

I wasn't aware I would be charged an additional fee on my card the day I was supposed to check in. We stopped by their offices which were closed for the season and left a message with no reply. I also tried to the phone number provided on here and it was disconnected. Very disappointed my credit card information was released and there was a charge without my knowledge. Even for a hold the fee is way too much. I paid less than half of this for my one night stay. Still trying to reach them to explain what/why this charge was put on my card. The place was nice. Location was near places to eat and near the downtown gathering area for the town. Pictures were accurate. I would stay again but it needs to be disclosed about whatever the high fee charge is for. Nothing in my emails or on this site explained any additional resort fee or hold fee.

Mainers getaway

On site parking with driving ease to and from Boothbay proper. Easy check in process, very clean room with secure entry and access. Spacious bathroom & large comfy king size bed. Adequate living room & kitchen spaces. Didn't bother with TV, but it's a decent size & set-up. Didn’t need to but, the laundry room would be easy to use for longer stays. Fairly quiet with both neighboring rooms occupied, minimal street noise. All in all: 5 stars, would recommend.

Booth Bay

New Efficiency Studio, comfortable king size bed, microwave, fridge, shared laundry room. I spent my weekend kayaking in the area, would rent this property again.
