Modern Farmhouse in the Heart of the High Country

Located on a former Arabian horse farm, our house has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Centrally located to restaurants, and attractions in the High Country, your days can be spent wandering our beautiful mountains and retire to a well situated and well appointed comfortable house with high-speed WiFi, big screen TV, fully equipped kitchen and cozy fireplace in the Family Room and Master Bedroom Suite. If you’re not tired from exploring our beautiful area try your hand at tennis on our property
The space
Our home is located 3/4 of a mile past the hospital on Deerfield Road. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful former Arabian horse farm.
Guest access
You are free to enjoy the entire upper floor of the house and the grounds where you will see a rafter of native turkeys or herd of deer. The barn and farm grounds can be reserved separately for events such as weddings, family reunions, corporate meetings, birthday parties or showers. Send inquiries. A tennis court on the property is available to guests. We ask that you wear proper court shoes. Multiple parking spaces are available just outside the “back door “ with a few steps making it easy to transfer your luggage into our house.

Very nice stay overall! Had a little hiccup at the beginning with check-in details/ communication but was able to get it resolved an hour before check-in. The house was very, very clean. While an older house, it was well maintained and great location! Thanks for the stay!

Comfortable and clean. Each bedroom had its own private bath with ample supply of towels. There was only a single serve keurig coffee maker, that would have been nice to know in advance. Kitchen, dining and living areas were spacious.

Great Stay

Perfect location near Boone. House is spacious and clean. All amenities provided. Could use a few more floor lamps to brighten it up but that’s about it. Host is very responsive and replies quickly to questions. Look forward to staying here again next time we return.

Love this property!

This property is as advertised. The property is beautiful, very clean and in a great location. It is within 10 minutes of shops and dining options and 30 minutes from skiing options. The owners are wonderful, and the staff is very professional and kind. Ice and snow were forecasted for our last day which made me a little nervous. Just as I was about to call the owners for advice, we noticed they had people spreading salt for our safety. That blew me away! How thoughtful and professional of the owners. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Boone. We plan to go back and bring some friends.

Beautiful Setting

We loved all the windows and seeing the herds of deer nearby! The kitchen is very well equipped. It’s in a rural setting yet very convenient to Boone.

Another Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again in Boone. There have been updates since our last visit and the place only gets better. Literally everything we could want. Our kids love it and of course we hope to be back soon! Thanks again!

Wonderful and spacious home

The property is located on an old farm. The interior is so big, that could play cornhole inside if raining. Had some questions and the contact was very quick with callback. Slight issue with checkin, but was resolved very quickly. Plan on staying again when in Boone.

A few days in Boone

This is a lovely property centrally located between the "business" areas of Boone and a short drive to the more artsy area of Blowing Rock. The local rec center is great and is very close with a day pass for visitors. Nights by the fire pit were relaxing and peaceful. Recommend highly and would stay again. Very friendly hosts - thanks, Anne-Marie!

Great stay!

Plenty of room, wonderful property with trees, open space, deer, tennis courts. The check in was super easy, the home clean which is very important to us. You do hear some cars from the road but the property sits back and is close to many activities. The coffee bar great. The host very nice. Had welcome bread and pumpkin butter. Thank you.

One of a Kind location

We had a fabulous time. We wanted a place that was just us as a family and not on top of neighbors and this place couldn’t have been more perfect. The home is beautiful. Very spacious for our family of 5. Very clean. Beds and couches very comfortable. All the kitchen supplies you need to make meals. My family enjoyed the outdoor space even more. Beautiful tennis court, corn hole, back porch, lookout area, long walks on the paved road and running up the rolling hills with kids and pets. The host is very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations on places to go and dine. She was very attentive to our needs, made us feel like family. No problems arose at all. Would for sure stay here again.

Beautiful Farmhouse - Pick This One!

The farmhouse in Boone is just lovely! I'm traveling with my husband and 3 kids (ages 15-21). We had plenty of room to spread out (3 bedrooms w/3 baths and a powder room) or to spend time together in the very spacious living area. Anne-Marie is the perfect host! It felt like we were staying at home. She thought of so many details that made our stay just wonderful. Kitchen: lots of cooking tools and dishes for cooking at home Beds: comfy Furniture: comfy & well taken care of (new?) Washer/Dryer: full size Location: just a 4 minute drive to Walmart/grocery/restaurants Outdoor space: beautifully landscaped with mountains in the distance, large deck We enjoyed our time at the farmhouse so very much. We can't wait to stay there again!
