The Best Stay

Beautiful Sanctuary

An incredible property for the ultimate R&R. The country home is beautiful, comfortable, spacious and lovely. The ground of the property are spectacular, with the natural springs swimming hole as it's crown jewel! We loved every minute of our stay and will absolutely return again and again!

Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us. We found everything we needed and then some. The kitchen had everything and the beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating in her response time and answering our questions and checkin and out were so easy. The kids enjoyed the water and playing outside. Loved this home and the property it was on, truly amazing. Secluded and peaceful. Loved the décor in the home, spacious, cozy and comfortable. Always had hot water for showers and washing dishes. We will definitely come back when in the area again and highly recommend this home.

Amazing getaway

I’ve been coming to bonifay, ever since I’ve been a little kid. And let me just say that this property took my breath away. Beautiful home and even better views. Kids loved playing by the water and running around in the spacious area. I would be definitely making this a regular visit.

Davis Wedding Weekend

The Firefly was a great place to host our out of town family & friends for our son’s wedding weekend. We loved the home & property. Very private with lots of space for our guests. We hosted a breakfast for the groom & groomsman the day of the wedding. We had everything we needed with the exception of more time to enjoy this little slice of heaven on earth. I hope to return in the future for a more relaxed visit for just some R & R with family & friends.

What a find!

We booked the house because it is near a friend’s motocross training facility and it turned out to be an amazing place to spend 3 weeks. The swim hole is the highlight and paddling along Wrights Creek in the canoes. The house is spacious and we were able to have friends stay or come for an afternoon’s swim. Leisa was welcoming and also a great sports injury massage specialist- that was a bonus. Hopefully we will be back next year.

Spring, creek, river you have it all!

Thank You from the bottom of my heart for the amazing vacation. We fell in love with your house last year and knew we would return. We have made so many wonderful memories with family and friends. Our favorite activity was sitting in the creek and looking for fossils. When we return next year, we hope to hang out with you again. Thank you for the smores, the kids loved roasting marshmallows on the fire and watching the fireflies. The kayaks and floats were in constant use in the magical spring-fed swimming pool. We enjoyed picking fresh strawberries and cherry tomatoes, and can’t wait to see what new plants are growing in the garden on our next visit. See you soon. Love, the Regan-Miller family.

Elegant paradise

The house is elegant but homey with comfy furniture, tons of different books, some games, and DVDs. I enjoyed the family pictures and different personal touches here and there. House is extremely clean. Outside is awesome with the spring swimming hole and a creek to explore.

I LOVE your house and property. How wonderful and unique to have a private spring! Came for the springs and fell in love with your beautiful home and property. The kids had so much fun playing in the springs and creek. Enjoyed the fresh brownies, eggs, herbs, and tomatoes. We loved having Smores by the fire and the kids got to see some fireflies. We saw three swallowtail kites, rabbits, snakes, skinks, frogs, and a big hawk as well as heard some owls. It was so much fun to explore the property and see Florida's nature in all of its beauty. There are a lot of games for the kids and the large selection of DVDs was great when we weren't playing in the water. Your family's home is amazing thank you so much for sharing. We can't wait to come back.

Unexpected paradise.

Beautiful home, perfect for a family getaway. We had movie night in a cozy family room, played disc golf, had a bonfire with smores. Lovely dinners together in the charming dinning room. Played board games upstairs in the cozy library area. Enjoyed walking by the beautiful pond. Loved the artwork and the antiques. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. A great place for a family to stay and enjoy time together! Nearby Dogwood Lakes golf course was great!!

Beautiful “Old Florida” experience

Recently we travelled to Florida to visit family and stayed here to try something different instead of a motel. What a good choice! Plenty of room for 6 of us. The house is spacious and has a lot of charm. The property is extremely private but only a few minutes drive from a small town with the basics - gas, grocery, etc. the highlight for us was the spring fed crystal clear pond in the back yard which then dumps into a creek. It’s small but was a lot of fun for wading and there are a few kayaks there for paddling. In the house downstairs there are 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, LR, den, DR and eat in kitchen. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms, bathroom and a large open game room/library. Plenty of books, board games, movies etc. Also outstanding there is a 3 hold frisbee golf course and a campfire area. We had a great time.

Perfect space for my team to stay

This week was wonderful for myself and my team. I had a group of 6 field biologists out doing work in this area and it was so nice for us just to stay in the house together instead of and a hotel. Our host was super communicative and responsive and we felt very welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The quiet, the roominess, the attention to detail was everything we needed to relax after long field days. Being able to cook for each other was fantastic, we were able to wash our work clothes each day, and best of all, we were able to relax outside and look at the moon and stars at night. Everything about out stay was perfect. We WILL be back!

Beautiful and spacious home!

I love how spacious the house is. There were so many rooms. It’s so much land and it was easy for the kids to occupy themselves. The kitchen was perfect. We did not have to leave to get fast food the whole trip. The decor in and around the house was beautiful, especially the natural spring in the backyard! Leisa was an awesome host. She checked on us throughout our trip and was very helpful of our situations. 10/10 recommend for family vacations.
