Traditional Home In The Centre Of Town

Ruth House is a traditional home which was built in 1914, and has undergone extensive updates over the past number of years. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many of Bonavista's local attractions. This home will serve as a fabulous retreat to get out and enjoy all that the Bonavista Peninsula has to offer. We have no doubt you will fall in love with this cosy space as soon as you walk through the door!

Guests will have access to the full house, and surrounding property. The house is fully stocked with everything guests will require during their stay- with the exception of food. The house is a fully self-sufficient vacation home, offering all the comforts of home. There is a washer and dryer onsite that is free of charge for guests to use during their stay. The upstairs ceilings in the house are 6'1".

Guests will have access to the full house, and surrounding property. Guests will be provided with a personalized access code to the home prior to check-in.

The property managers make every effort to meet guests during the first evening of their stay to make sure guests are well acquainted with the property and surrounding amenities. After this, guests can reach out to the property managers at any point if they have any questions or concerns. A local contact will be available 24/7.

Quaint cottage in great location

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ruth’s House. The location was great for walking to shops and restaurants and the beds were very comfortable. It was so quiet too. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay again. (Note - if you’re really tall be aware of the low ceilings but don’t let it stop you from staying.)

Great location in Bonavista

Communication with Luke was easy and professional. The location was easy walking distance to Bonavista Puffin and Whale Tours as well as restaurants. The ceiling height inside the unit was not an issue for our group but could be for others. The sofa in the living room provided an extra sleeping surface if needed. The bathroom is beautiful. My only suggestion would be to add extra mirrors in few places to make it quicker for several people to get ready in the morning. I would love to stay here again.

Comfy & Cozy Ruth House

This place exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Although small rooms, they were perfectly furnished and appointed. The modern bathroom was exceptional. Although the kitchen was fully prepped for cooking, we were only there two nights, so did not ; but could see the possibilities for a more extended visit. Would definitely return.

Property was great in a perfect location. Hosts were very quick to address any issues. Only issue is that due to the age of the house the ceiling height is very low. The doors frames have a clearance of 5’.8 and the ceilings themselves are only about 6 feet tall upstairs so you might have to bend down to avoid hitting your head if your tall.
