Hello,
In regard to a brief of this property, it would be difficult as the depth of issues is rather long.
In short, the Super 8 property at Boise was found in poor condition and not really portrayed like the photos on the website.
Room lighting was poor
Cupboard handles were missing form the draws.
Door to cabinet for hidden fridge was broken and not aligned.
Bathroom mirror was cracked for sometime.
The air-conditioning hadn't been cleaned in sometime.
The carpets in the corridors were vacuumed regularly however, the carpets actually need to be steamed cleaned and this has not been done for sometime.
Breakfast contained predominately sugar based food in the form of processed food. That said apples were available everyday for twelve days.
There was no tea available for the four days of the trip, indicating that there is not a process followed or kept with regard to restocking of stock(food), or permission from group manager may be required to sign off on spending deplenished stock.
Staff were friendly and do the best with what they have.
The concern is with the owners Wyndham, there process of up keep, maintenance of the building and general appearance of the hotel.
Numerous examples of possible hazzards exist from a legal stand point.
Super8 hotel is in a good location as is evident of the other hotels close to the Airport.
It is a one star budget hotel.
It was built on a budget and possibly of 1980`s era.
Would I stay again.... no
