"I booked the property for my parents & their friend as a surprise getaway to relax. The first thing my parents commented on was how clean the property was and that it smelled amazing on arrival. They loved the location of the house, also they appreciated that should kids be staying there, the toys/dress up provided & also the style of the second bedroom would be fantastic for them. "The host responded promptly to our messages, all instructions were clear and the home was warm for us on our arrival. The space was cleverly planned to have everything you need. The views were beautiful and we were lucky to have dry days to explore Gibside and the Derwent valley. Lovely peaceful location, amenities close at hand. Thoughtful supply of books to read and general information. Very cosy and a tonic for the soul as so restful. "

"This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!...

"The barn is situated on a family farm with the owner, Wendy, living in a neighbouring property. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by Wendy, a lovely welcome pack with cake, biscuits and fudge and even treats for our dog. Nothing is too much trouble and the cottage is equipped with all you could need and more. Although there were only two of us when we travelled, it is very spacious and would be ideal for a larger family with ample parking right outside and a lovely courtyard garden area."

"If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere. The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it."
