"Our room was very comfortable (especially the bed/mattress) and furnished to a good standard. Nice modern en suite facilities. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and the location was adjacent to many bars and restaurants and only a 6-7 minute walk from the town centre. Only downside was the expensive local car parking (£22.50 overnight - significantly more than we have experienced elsewhere) with no discount from the hotel"

"I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. "Property was okay, there was staining around shower basin seals and rust where the toilet brush etc had not been replaced in a LONG time. Glad I brought my own kitchen utensils with me as everything at the property was damaged. Couldn’t even leave a fresh dish sponge for a new stay so questioned how clean the place actually was.
