Beautiful Secluded Deluxe Log Cabin Overlooking Stocked Pond

Amenities include wood burning fireplace, radiant floor heating, air conditioning, two full baths, three sleeping areas including a queen bed in master bedroom, an open loft with two full beds and a bunkroom with two bunkbeds in the lower level. Other amenities include a Weber gas grill, Spectrum TV/High Speed Wifi, DVD player, full sized washer/dryer, complete kitchen appliances with table service for 8, telephone and answering machine.

Beautiful secluded cabin located near Blue Rock State Forest and Jesse Owens State Park. On site activities include fishing, swimming, canoeing, campfires and relaxing in the peaceful hammock and hot tub.

Local area attractions include visiting The Wilds Nature Preserve, Longaberger Basket Company, Blue Rock State Park and Blue Rock State Forest (4500 acres that are great for hiking/fishing/swimming/hunting), Jesse Owens State Park and Wildlife Area, visit nearby antique and pottery shops in Zanesville or have dinner and ice cream at one of the local favorites. Muskingum River system offers boating, fishing or visiting the locks during the summer months. Cableas retail store is located about 1 1/2 hours away and the heart of Ohio Amish country is a wonderful day trip only 2 hours away.

What’s a girls weekend

Close friends and I braved the flooding Ohio weekend to seek out the cabin for a much needed girls trip. Some folks had to take a longer route than planned due to high water around the state. Worth it. Indoor fireplace was magical while we watched the thunder storms roll in from the large windows that overlooked the pond.. would love to return during the warmer months to enjoy the dock and outdoor pursuits that were offered. I can see a group laughing and sun bathing and swimming on the dock and ending the evening around the outdoor fireplace. Cabin was clean and peaceful.

Weekend Retreat With Friends

The cabin and property were perfect for our Spring Retreat. Nature is around you and you can truly relax, unwind, and unplug. The cabin is spotless, cozy, and has everything you need for a getaway with friends or family. Our mornings and evenings were spent on the large porch in the back overlooking the pond enjoying the sight and quietness of the property. We hope to be back for another stay. Thank you for an amazing place for us to be together!

St. Patrick’s Day Getaway

We had wonderful weather on Friday so we were able to sit outside by the fire pit until we called it a night. Saturday was hit or miss rain showers but we worked around it and again enjoyed most of the day outside. Hot tub was working Friday but unfortunately we were not able to use it the rest of our stay. Tim was notified and worked hard to get it corrected but the part wasn’t available. He did offer us a discount for our next stay and we will definitely be back!! We love the place

Amazing, Secluded, Clean Cabin

The cabin was extremely clean and well managed. There was everything we needed and more! The hosts were responsive and helpful. The property was quite secluded, beautiful, quiet, and allowed us to be in nature without having to drive anywhere! I would definitely recommend booking a stay at this cabin.

This was an ideal location for our group. The setting was very secluded and quiet. Tim the owner was extremely helpful and friendly with any and all of our questions and needs. Very beautiful and secluded! This is the place to be!

Beautiful scenery. See lots of wildlife. Hot tub was clean. Fresh linens. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. Very accommodating to large families especially with children. Plenty of activities and there own space. Very secluded and easy to find.

The cabin was stunning. Beautifully built with quality furnishings. Fabulous stone fireplace and the hut tub made a great spot for morning coffee. The pond was an added attraction and the dock made for perfect star gazing. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Amazing property!

Such a beautiful place - so peaceful and comfortable! We had a wonderful time - there are several great hang out spots inside and outside. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms were so nice. Tim is great to work with! We highly recommend!

Beautiful Fall Weekend

Tim was such a gracious host making sure we were able to watch our Buckeyes. The weather was perfect so we were either in the hot tub, building a fire in the fire pit or watching the baby does play in the front yard. We will definitely be back but book early as he fills up quick!

Extrordinarily Bautiful Property

This was a clean, well maintained property that abounded with wildlife like deer, rabbit, turkey, squirrels, and birds. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, walking down the lane, and my kids took the row boat out for a brief row around the lake!
