An eclectic skyline retreat with a passionate lover’s suite. The WIDESPREAD mountain views at this secluded and swanky 2-bedroom bungalow will make you extremely GRATEFUL that you chose this place!
Nestled high in the lush Blue Ridge mountains, This Must Be The Place is where romance meets style. Designed with moody mid-century flair and sultry touches throughout, this one-of-a-kind retreat is the perfect escape for couples, creatives, or friends looking to recharge in nature without sacrificing luxury.
Step into a thoughtfully curated space filled with vintage accents, bold color palettes, and cozy textures. As you enter, the downstairs foyer is a work of art in itself…a swanky listening room with nature and music inspired art, local Appalachian wood furniture, a turntable with CD, Bluetooth and a classic vinyl collection, all wrapped in a mid-century modern vibe. The very private and sexy downstairs bedroom is a true lover’s hideaway—complete with a dreamy king bed, ambient lighting, cozy stone fireplace, a Liberator chaise lounge and everything you need to get those passionate juices flowing. The new hot tub is situated steps away from the lover’s suite and the listening room on the first level deck, with a view of the majestic mountains, but also covered and extremely private. As you climb the stairs to the main floor, be prepared to be amazed. The second level open floor plan is complete with a chef’s kitchen, food bar, dining room, super comfy living room with Queen size pullout couch, gas fireplace and large screen Smart TV. The second bedroom is equally charming and cozy with plush but firm bedding and mountain-inspired décor and en suite bathroom with full tub and shower.
Unwind on the covered second-story porch with a glass of wine, or dine al fresco on the large grillside outdoor dining table as you watch the sun, stars and moon rise over the mountains. Sunbathers and stargazers alike will no doubt love the open side deck, where you can also strike up game of cornhole with a panoramic view of the mountains in the background. The outdoor fire pit is it’s own little slice of heaven mere steps away from the front door, with super comfy Adirondacks and a large raised firepit tucked into a beautiful forest cove.

LISTEN! I have booked many nice cabins in my life, but none were as incredible as this. My husband and I booked 2 nights at the Skyline Lover’s Retreat, the accommodation from John was astonishing from the start, quick response and open to special requests, the cabin was BEAUTIFUL, so clean, fully stocked with literally anything you might need, and so sexyyy (like, who designed?!)! It was shocking in the best way. Absolutely loved and and will be booking again in the future! Thank you for the experience John, it was greatly appreciated!
