Winter Sale! Jan-Feb Discounts. Eagles Nest Cabin is a cozy retreat that can accommodate up to six guests and is pet friendly. Fifteen minutes from Blue Ridge, GA, Eagles Nest is the perfect romantic get-away, a great place to enjoy close friends, or a wonderful place to bond with family. As you enter the cabin you will immediately appreciate the cleanliness and well-appointed amenities. The fully stocked kitchen ensures that you have everything you need for preparing and enjoying meals onsite. Enjoy the woodburning fireplace in the den while relaxing with friends, watching your favorite TV show or game or playing board games. This charming cabin features two bedrooms on the lower level, one king and the other queen along with a full bath. Upstairs, you will find a spacious loft area with a comfortable seating area, a full bath, and a daybed with a trundle. For entertainment, there is a professional foosball table to enjoy. The cabin is equipped with cable and Wi-Fi, excellent cell phone coverage, and two TVs, one in the den and another one in the king master bedroom.
If you're looking to relax and unwind, step out onto the large screened-in porch offering a table and chairs, rocking chair and glider. Enjoy the extraordinary breathtaking views of the peaks and valleys of Rich Mountain wilderness, one of the highest peaks in Georgia standing at over 4,100 ft. Grill burgers or a steak and relax with a drink, good book, or with friends. Step out onto the extended deck and enjoy the hot tub and breathe in the clean mountain air. Step into the back yard and enjoy smores roasted over the fire pit.
And yes, the roads leading to the cabin are paved making the cabin easily assessable in any vehicle.

Hiking is at your backdoor as the Benton McKaye Trail, a feeder trail for the Appalachian Trail, literally runs throughout community. Enjoy fishing in the community on one of its many small lakes. Within twenty-five minutes you can enjoy the outdoor experiences within the Aska Adventure Area including hiking, waterfalls, and tubing. If you enjoy lakes, don't miss Blue Ridge Lake moments away. Great views the cabin had everything you could want for a relaxing week in the northern Georgia mountains, hot tub was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing, the host Matt does a great job of communicating and we had no issues at all! Worth the drive from south Florida.

Stunning view. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy. No problems with appliances, getting into the cabin, and amenities. Plenty of dish soap , laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, bug spray, spices etc. available. The hot tub was balanced. Owner provided great communication and directions to the property. 10/10. Definitely recommend and we plan to go back.

My 77 year old father and I wanted a dog-friendly place in the mountains to vacation for a few days and looked here as an alternative to our familiar North Carolina options. We had a wonderful time at Matt’s cabin! Google Maps got us there, no problem, but I’d suggest orienting yourself on the map first and to arrive with daylight if possible. The roads are manageable, but curvy and narrow with some steep edges. Read the directions provided ahead of time. Keep your eyes open, we saw deer along the road to welcome us to Cherry Log. Check-in very easy! Beautiful cabin right from the entrance. Well supplied kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Screened in porch and hot tub were perfect. Even in summer with nights at 70 degrees, hot tub at warm setting was still amazing at sunset. No issue with bugs or mosquitos! Beautiful mountain view inside and from patio. House is senior friendly, except upstairs which is a sleeper bonus/game room and bathroom. Very comfortable and open living area / kitchen for lounging. Very responsive host throughout! We accidentally left a cup, and he and his cleaner shipped it back to us. What more could you ask for?!Enjoyed the local dog park, hiking, breweries, downtown Blue Ridge and recommend William’s Tire Shop if you run into trouble. We needed a patch. Would highly recommend the cabin!

Wonderful stay

The cabin is wonderful.There were deer everywhere. The view is endless. We loved the rocking chair on porch, hadcto come home and order one for my self. We had a wonderful time and also went to ,the lilly pad and had a great time there . The people that run it are wonderful with the kids and my dogs. I will be looking to stay in the cabin again soon. Cozy remote getaway - perfect mountain escape

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, remote cabin! Tucked away in the mountains, it offered the perfect blend of peace and comfort. The drive up was scenic and full of wildlife — we spotted several deer along the way, which was such a treat.The cabin itself was exactly what we were hoping for: cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, and the screened-in porch quickly became our favorite spot to relax and take in the fresh mountain air. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the cute, rustic decor throughout — it gave the whole place a warm, homey feel.My son especially enjoyed our nearby adventures, including a fun visit to the Bigfoot museum and playing at the 2nd story indoor golf course. It was a great mix of quiet downtime and unique local attractions.We’re already hoping to return for another peaceful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort!

Awesome Getaway

The cabin was awesome with great views. The hot tub was a plus. However the drive up is a bit challenging with several big potholes. The road is wide enough for one car but cars can be coming up and down at the same time. I would recommend this cabin, for sure!!

Traincation

The cabin fit our family of 5 and our dog very nicely! We brought one rocker downstairs and another rocker inside from the screened porch so that we could all have a place to sit while we watched a movie. We cooked our dinners in and found everything we needed. Loved that there were lots of cozy blankets Plenty of towels for showering and for the hot tub. Great views to enjoy the hot tub.It takes almost 15 min to drive to the cabin once you turn onto the development and gps worked correctly for us We were able to get to Blue Ridge in just under 20 min. Our family enjoyed the train ride and we had lunch at the Cuban restaurant- delicious sandwiches! We liked the area- was so peaceful. Enjoyed watching a pileated woodpecker chase off some black crows in the morning with a cup of coffee and rocking in the glider bench. I would recommend for sure. Cute place
