The Cedars Country Cottage, nestled in the Cedar trees, the perfect blend of convenience and solitude! 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bath with Bathtub, TV, DVD, WIFI, Picnic Table, Fully Furnished Kitchen, Dining Room Table, Linens, Washer, Dryer, and BBQ Grill.

The Cedars Country Cottage, located 3 miles north-west of Blanding on the reservoir road, is the perfect blend of convenience and solitude! Featuring covered porch, 2 Full Baths, Bathtub, TV, DVD, WIFI, Fully Furnished Kitchen, Dining Room Table, all Linens, Washer & Dryer! Sleeps 7+ people including the Sofa in Living Room.
A one-of-a-kind vacation home, set alone in a cedar grove with a 360-degree view in all directions. Relax on the porch in the sun or the shade. The Cedars Cottage has a way of making you feel extremely secluded, while nearby lies the most popular lake in San Juan County - great for swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports! Also nearby are 2 reservoirs stocked with fish for fishing. Lake Powell - Halls Crossing Marina is only 80 minutes of travel time.
Inside, you'll find much more space than you anticipated - with vaulted ceilings, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, a very spacious living room with surround sound TV enjoy your favorite shows with two Roku devices, and cozy sofas!
Master Bedroom has a King Bed.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.
The Living room also has a full sofa and a love seat.
All linens (towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.) are provided for you. The kitchen is also stocked with cooking and serving utensils - all you bring is the food and condiments!
WIFI and Digital TV and DVD are provided at no additional cost - that is of course if you ever get bored enough to use them. You'll be far too busy exploring the popular national and state parks and monuments in southeast Utah - that's right, the Cedars Cottage is located centrally among more than a dozen of them!

The Cedars Country Cottage is a gem. We had a very pleasant stay. A lot of space, nicely furnished and equipped with everything needed for a longer stay. And away from any major roads or traffic. Surrounded by cedars with far away views all the way to the Rockies. Very convenient for trips to the Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, etc. Highly recommended!

Very well equipped home. The effort made by the owners to put together a top-notch visitor’s book was much appreciated. And there are many other little touches that made this place special. I really wish we could have used the fire pit, but there was too big a fire risk due to drought. The only thing that might put some people off is the layout. The living room is upstairs, so when you get your morning coffee, you have to climb the stairs to have a comfortable place to sit.

Stay in Blanding

This was a perfect spot to launch our Southeast Utah adventure. I was a little nervous about cooking with the swamp cooler, but it worked out just fine. Home had everything we needed to have a great time with our three children. Master shower was fantastic with duel shower heads and was perfect after a long day of dusty hiking and being outside. This was a great stay

Desert trip with Grandma and Grandpa.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. There is enough room to have some space to yourself and great places to be together. A highlight was watching my grandson and his Grandpa make dinner together in the kitchen. They had ample room to work together. Sitting outside in the morning drinking coffee with the turkeys, the jack rabbit and the birds was just what my soul needed. We will be back.

Great secluded cabin with beautiful views!

We loved our stay at this sweet cabin tucked in the cedars! Even though it is quite close to town, we felt like the location was very private. The star gazing was incredible! The beds were comfy! The heated tile floors and shower in the master bath were a special treat! Communication with our hosts was great!

Great, quiet location for unwinding. It would have been good to stay another night, but we needed to keep going. Rooms were reasonably sized and beds were comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We dinged it for cleanliness for three reasons: 1) dust on the kitchen counters, 2) left-over plastic fruit container on the fireplace, and 3) towels left in the dryer. We were somewhat confused by getting texts from different people asking about our check-in status, arrival, and number in our party. A single point of contact would have been better. The heating/cooling setup is complicated. And it probably didn't help that we were there when days were warm/hot and nights still cool. But we managed. Lastly, the list of restaurants provided by the owner should include Gustavos in Monticello. It was excellent.

Quiet and comfortable

We spent six nights in this marvelous cottage as our base during a recent visit to Utah. The bed we slept on after a long day of hiking was super comfortable and the heated tile floors after a morning shower were wonderful. The beautiful quilt on the bed was much admired and appreciated! We mostly did our own cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed including a cupboard of spices. The cottage is close to Mule Canyon, Bears Ears and National Bridges Monument, communication with our host Preston was very good, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great out of town property

This was just outside of town, which gave it a nice country feel, but yet was very convenient to the area attractions. I loved the binder with suggested destinations, and we actually changed out itenerary based on our find there. House was huge, well equipped, and comfortable.

Beautiful house in great location

The house was absolutely great. When we arrived, a deer with two young was grazing in the garden, what a great start. After entering the house, all was absolutely great. The place has everything you need, and is in excellent condition. All little things are thought of and provided for. The hosts are incredibly quick to answer any questions you have. The Blanding town (dry town, by the way) is closeby and has all the basic needs. Perfect location to do all the tourist things ! Loved it !
