Great Stay In Blackpool

Great stay. Very near town, coral Island etc. Bed comfy litte dated but other than that can not fault place. Quiet on night.Staff lovely especially the chef. Breakfast was good lots of choice. Would stay again very happy.

Weekend away

My stay was excellent very friendly and approachable rooms was clean food was very good. Will definitely be booking again. Been here few times and never had any complaints always been helpful and friendly

The wall.in the hotel room are like paper thin, so could hear evey word the people in the next room was saying apart from.that it is ok .

Just here for one night, great location as just 5 min walk to the front and Tower. Although we arrived early & rooms were not ready we could leave our luggage in the dining area and went for a walk & food till it was time to come back. It is basic but clean and the staff very friendly. I would recommend this place especially for just a one night away.

Had a lovely stay over at Chaplins. very nice people. Breakfast was great. not greasy,cooked to perfection! Onlt thing is that the neighbours had their tv on all nyt!! so broken sleep. But would go back. no bar bit dissapointing. But had enough out in Blackpool

There was a mix up prior to arrival as one of our party received a message to say they had to move us to another B&B. We went to the other B&B and the man was confused. It seems the same couple are running both B&Bs. Eventually we were then told we could still stay at Chaplins, however when we arrived the rooms werent ready and we had to wait until 4pm for our room. The room was ok, however the service on the whole was very disorganised. More work is needed to get it running smoothly.

We were supposed to stay for 1 night at Chaplins, which was booked 3 weeks in advance. An hour before check in time I got a message to say that they no longer had rooms, but had found a replacement b n b. We were told by the lady that there was a problem with the showers, that they had known since the day before, but only communicated to us an hour beforehand! We were shown to the new b n b by a young man who walked a mile in front of us! and with a mobility impaired member of the party trying desperately to keep up behind! When we arrived there was another group of people waiting to get in. It turned out that they had the same surname as us, had had the same problems at Chaplins and been told they could have 2 rooms at the new b n b too. I then had to show my booking reservation again while the young chap talked to the other group. We heard him tell them that there was a problem with the ROOF at Chaplins, so 2 different stories there! After going off for about 5 minutes he eventually came back with keys and a very poor apology for the inconvenience! A rubbish way to deal with people. Pathetic lack of communication and total disregard for any level of customer service. All in all, shocking is an understatement. Steer clear of Chaplins!!

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service. We turned up at 9pm after driving 113 miles. Know one was answering the door or the phone after repeatedly trying and then a woman answered at 9. 15pm and said we couldn't stay even though we had already paid and we were there at 9pm she said her manager had the room keys and he was over seas 🤔. I had a very upset 12 year old daughter who was very tired and had a dance competition the next day. We had to pay £150 to stay in the only hotel with a room in the whole of Blackpool. We will never book with them again and neither will our family and friends.

Lovely little guest house. Very welcoming and excellent hosts who couldn't do enough to ensure you had a great stay. Rooms small but exceptionally clean and well equipped. Ideal location close to main area tower shops etc. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and nothing was too much trouble. Definately recommended

Friendly B & B who serve a great breakfast

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff, great shower were all positives. Re another table's breakfast I observed a family with kids and they had pancakes specially prepared for them which was very thoughtful. One downside was checking in as no-one was available on reception when I first arrived and another guest had to let me in. I tried phoning again once inside and my phone was heard and a member of staff appeared and checked me in.
