"The room was clean, comfortable and simply wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked and our check in/ check out was smooth. Breakfast offerings were fantastic and the staff were friendly yet professional. This is where I will stay when in Houston."

Although breakfast was not included, the simple kitchen was very convenient for our road trip because we could cook some basic hot meals. The only issue was that the electric stove took quite a long time to boil water, so I hope that can be improved. "The tv did not work in my room and there was no coffee bar in the room…..did have a microwave and refrigerator. Free breakfast was the bare basics and limited. The hairdryer in my room was broken. I requested a king bed and got two queens. The front desk lady was very nice as well as the housekeeper. Convenient location for one night."

"The room was very well equipped very comfortable for a multi day stay. The shower is very large and hot water was on demand almost immediately. The breakfast bar was well equipped every day and the menu rotated every day as well so you didn’t feel like you were having the same food over and over again. Overall, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in the past five years at least."

"The people who run this are very nice, but the condition of the hotel inside needs a major overhaul. The elevator didn’t work, so we took the stairs 3 flights up. The carpet all throughout is stained and dirty. Our room smelled of old smoke and iron and there were roaches. I stayed 3 hours and turned in my card key letting the front desk know I would not be back."
