"I think we got a cheeky little upgrade because the room was huge! Spotless, the soaps and things smelt gorgeous. Beautiful little touches in the room too. Staff so friendly and courteous, can’t do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would love to stay again. "

"The room was fine. Breakfast was poor—bad selection, very sour coffee. The A/C couldn't be turned off. The receptionist asked for confirmation of payment even though we had already paid Expedia, which was strange. "

"As a lot of the previous reviews have mentioned, the reception staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Thanks Linda and Andrew! I got a complimentary upgrade to a 'superior suite' which was lovely. Decent size lounge, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, all nice and warm, clean, well maintained. Only very very minor criticism is the gym was very small and with 3 people in there at once really wasn't room to swing a kettlebell round! But that aside, a really good stay and I'm sure...

"Prime location right in the heart of central Birmingham, immediately next to the Museum, across Victoria Square from New Street, the Bullring, & Grand Central, at the edge of the Jewelry District & Gas Street Basin, & minutes from the theaters, the library, & convention center. "Lovely spacious room which is well appointed and furnished tastefully. We did not eat food at the restaurant/ bar on this occasion but would certainly give it a go if we have a need to stay in Birmingham again in the future. Staff were really helpful and friendly and location wise the hotel is a reasonably short walk to venues such as Utilita arena."
