Good things first: HOLY water pressure! The water pressure is AMAZING for the shower. The location is awesome—close to a lot of things and easy access to highways.
Having said that, I’m unsure how this property is rated as high as it is.
Room smelled strongly of mold and used oil. It hits you like a wall the moment you walk in.
Had exactly one standard sized towel person, and when requested the front desk attendant for one more, she first asked if I had extra people in my room. When I said no, she insisted I bring her the used towel to get a new one. Bring the front desk a used towel from the building across the yard that the rooms are in to get an extra bath towel. Yes.
There were used loofas in the bathroom. Furniture was old and chipped. Curtains would not close all the way. No soap to use at the sink. Makeup remover things had brown sticky stains on them.
The courtyard had more than one person openly smoking weed sitting right next to the walkway. Night time and day time. You had to walk through the smoke to get to the building. Picnic tables were trashed with empty soda bottles and chips bags.
Carpets everywhere, especially the stairwell, had stains all over.
Breakfast left much to be desired.
I would say “you get what you pay for,” and I’m a fairly frugal traveler, but this place wasn’t cheap enough for what it offers.
Tragic situation in there. Don’t stay at this place.
