I normally enjoy Hyatt-branded properties, but this stay at Hyatt Place was shockingly bad. The “complimentary breakfast” was the first red flag — the floor was literally coated in syrup. My shoes stuck with every step. It was not only disgusting but also a safety hazard. I have no idea how staff walked past this without addressing it.
The condition of the hotel itself is even more concerning. The room had poorly done repair work and unfinished patches on the walls that looked like someone quit halfway through. For a Hyatt property, it felt more like a neglected motel. Honestly, I’m not sure how this location is still keeping the flag with maintenance this far below brand standards.
Between the cleanliness issues, the lack of attention to detail, and the overall rundown feel, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I definitely won’t be returning.
