Cozy Cottage near Bigfork overlooking Flathead Lake in our Cherry Orchard

Cozy, cherry orchard cottage situated on the East Shore of Flathead Lake, close to Yellow Bay State Park.
Location is 12 miles south of Bigfork and an hour drive to Glacier National Park, with airport only 45 minutes away. We have several places to eat at Wood bay, including The Raven and Sitting Duck right on the lake!
This unique cabin opens onto a deck, extending the cabin to an open air living area, with views to the lake. Charming, historic exterior, with a fresh, clean updated interior.
Kayaks and Paddle boards available to rent for nearby Yellow Bay or they can be delivered to you at the Lake!

Wonderful little cabin in a quiet property. It has double doors that open to outside so we opened them in the morning and enjoyed fresh air and birds chirping while we laid on the bed.

Good kitchen and bathroom considering size of the cottage. Liked the organic modern style. Enjoyed the outdoor seating on the front deck. Bedroom part could use more lighting. Know that the cottage is very close to the main house.

Sweet spot right across the road from Flathead Lake. Enjoyed swimming in the lake and sitting on the deck of this cute cottage. The kitchen has a microwave and a toaster oven. Full fridge. There are no pantry items stocked in the refrigerator except salt & pepper. Coffee with sugar and fake cream provided.

Rest and reflection

I really enjoyed my stay there with pam and lisa with wonderful hospitality. I would highly recommend this space for anybody that just needs to get away and it relax and breath, walk through the orchard, and you just feel the calm.

We loved everything about our stay in the cottage. Favorite things were the barn doors that opened to the deck and the cherry orchard! It was a dream vacation and even though it rained for a good portion of it the cool whether was so refreshing and we loved listening to the rain while we slept. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to everyone we know!

Excellent Stay!

Everything about this cottage was perfect! It is comfortable and beautifully decorated. There are so many special touches. The cherry orchard is lovely and it is located just far enough out of town to be peaceful. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The beautiful setting, no insects to speak of , Such a kind and gracious host , beautiful views , privacy , beautiful grounds with various shrubs , plants , flowers , and trees, the cabin was very clean with kitchen , very comfortable bed , bathroom with shower, TV , furnished , and a marvelous deck on two sides with a covered swing on the east side and two folding doors that open onto a patio type deck that overlooks to the lake to the West and beyond which was a major highlight for me as I ate lunch there and just sat and soaked in everything for hours !! So much to be said about towering pine trees , chipmunks, the beautiful surroundings ,a couple of curious cats , and realizing this place is a little piece of Paradise !!

Really lovely small cottage right off the road around Flathead Lake. The host was very accommodating by making themselves available if needed but left us to our own devices. The best view is at the top of the cherry orchard with a couple of bench seats. Would definitely come back for another visit!
