"Great location. Clean space. Helpful staff. Easy check in. Generally a wonderful experience. Had two minor issues: 1) air conditioning in room did not work, and it took a long time to get moved to a room with A/C. 2) we asked hotel to line up a taxi to the airport. Driver cheated us: demanded 2x a typical fare and claimed that he could not accept a credit card because of internet connection (despite fact that he advertised taking CC). Do not know whether to hold this against the Platz desk or...

"Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of old town Lucerne! Close to everything and we could get enough of the view of Jesuitkirche and the chapel bridge across the river from our private balcony. For location and views, would 10/10 stay here again! Tip- the breakfast buffet can be a little pricey, but the service was wonderful and a they offered a great spread or a-La-Carte options. Eating there is a quintessentially Swiss place to start your morning and you won't regret it. "

"Liked the area, pretty. Im not sure we were dressed as nicely as some other guests. We were stopped on our second day by desk gentleman, and asked our names. Felt as though he thought we didnt belong there. Breakfast was lovely! "

"The room was nice, spacious and very clean. The staff were really nice and tried to help us where they could. I just gave 4 stars because the hallways carpet is in terrible shape and full with stains. It needs to be updated. Location is great if you want to be downtown, but it can be a little noisy if you want to leave the balcony’s door open. No noise problems with the door closed. The breakfast was also good. "

"The Maximillian Hotel in Munich was fantastic. Although, there is current construction around the hotel, it was still literally the quietest hotel we’ve ever visited. We slept so well! Our room was well appointed and incredibly comfortable. The staff members were so kind and always went above and beyond. The location was within walking distance of great restaurants, tourist attractions and the train! We HIGHLY recommend! "

"The staff was extremely pleasant!!. The view of the glockenspiel was very cool and we enjoyed the wine and pretzels while relaxing and observing the bustle in Marienplatz! Loved our view of the church from our room and enjoyed waking to church bells every morning. Location is fantastic!!"

"Alles war perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes und reichliches Frühstück, modernes und sehr sauberes sowie ruhiges Zimmer, freundliches und kompetentes Personal von Rezeption über Frühsücks- bis Zimmerservice. "This was our third time at this Hotel and again we were not disappointed. The location of the Hotel is perfect for getting around Munich. There is so much to see and do locally and you can travel quite easily to other cities. On this occasion, we travelled to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest with Get Your Guide. "Great location. Well appointed. Very clean and modern. Great layout. My room faced Schiller Straße hardly heard a sound at night. Block out curtain. Micro Kitchen with two cook tops. Mini fridge with limited free drinks eg juice water and beer which was impressive. Off the Main Street that leads to Munich Central station. A short 10 minute walk to Marien Platz. Main entrance to hotel is in modern clean lane way. I had to leave hotel at 5.30 am in the morning to catch train. No issues....
