"Quite poor. The most uncomfortable bed I slept in, had a loose cable on the outside bang on the window all night, plumbing was making really loud noises that kept waking me up. In terms of cleanliness, mould in the bathroom, could see someone else shaved there as there was lots of cut hair on the floor. Overall, if it wasn't for the staff being very polite, it would've been a 1 star"

"When I'm working in Devon I always stay here. Its perfectly comfy and its has good size rooms the parking is free and plentiful even in a large Van you can park around the rear of hotel. Close to tiverton town centre and supermarkets. Staff are very friendly too. "

"When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. "First impressions are important. The exterior of this hotel is like a horror movie. Inside the theme continues. It's very dated. But if you like quirky seaside hotels then this place is for you. I think someone was smoking in their room because I could smell cigarette smoke. My room had a farty odour. I can't really complain for the price I paid. It was close to a nice Nepalese restaurant and also a convenient store. And is close to the seafront too but a fair way from the town and amusements. "

"The room we stayed in needs a bit of tlc (mainly in the bathroom), however in terms of the size of the room generally it was decent enough and clean (don't think we could have done more than one night) The restaurant has a good variety of food and drinks (dinner / lunch) and the app is useful for ordering. Breakfast was ok at best. Seem to have few staff working and the cooked breakfast was a bit hit and miss. They could probably do with refreshing the continental breakfast bar menu as there...
