"Got a room with a balcony viewing the lake, it was well worth it! Sat out there for hours just watching the boats, enjoying the atmosphere. Well kept hotel, clean room, comfy beds & plenty of things to do around. Staff was nice & helpful & cheerful! Very welcoming. I’d definitely go again."

"We had a great 2 day stay for a wedding. The Governor had ample space, 2 bd 2 bath. So clean. Beautiful view of the lake. Close to everything in downtown Lake Geneva ... perfect!"

"We got to hotel at 3:05 pm and had to wait for some to show up (a sign was up stating "out for 15 minutes".)a reception person came at 3:30pm. A kinda weird start. I left a tee shirt in the top drawer of a dresser and when I called back 5 hours after checking out they said they would look but they stated no one found a tee shirt. This seems strange since no one would want the shirt, so I suspect they did not really look for it. My bad for leaving it, just sad to lose a tee shirt which was a...

"The young lady at check-in was lovely - sweet, and then very apologetic when my kid found glass in the pool. The room, aside from the faint stain on the ceiling/humid closet that smelled like mildew, and the carpet that felt like too much soap was used during carpet cleaning, was fine enough. Bed was comfy. The water pressure was intense: finding a setting on the shower head that didn’t feel like I was being sand blasted was tricky, so kids got baths. I’m not one to complain, but once I noticed...

"We've had a terrible stay. We were there for the 4th of July. Well first it took them hour - hour and a half to check us in. They have 2 locations, we booked the one with the pool but they tried to put us in a lodge on the other side of the property. When we finally got the room, it was a nice room, close to the pool but in order to get there you have to pass through the indoor pool and also the automatic door to get into the hotel on the side of the proprety where the room was didn't work so."

"Nice property, very expansive and resort- like with golf courses, tennis and indoor pool. Outdoor pool was way undersized for the size of the resort and very crowded. Fire pits are great and they sell s’more kits in the gift shop. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced for a resort."
