The central feature of the 5 bedroom home is a huge Gulmohar tree, an umbrella over the entire garden with a sit out and dining table below it, perfect for cocktails, lounging around, reading a book, or having a spot of tea. Or even cozy up around the wood burning fireplace in the winter. There is private chefs kitchen available for us and a wine fridge in the bar.

The interior of the house is contemporary with Italian marble floors and modern European style furniture in the bedrooms. The walls are adorned with beautiful art collected over the years by Helen Wallia.

ABOUT RIZWAN BAGH
Rizwan Bagh was formerly Nawab Hamiduallah Khan’s mango orchard and was used as his personal Akhada/Gym. Situated below the main Ahmedabad Palace, it was once cultivated as a fruit orchard by the last Nawab. Each tree was said to have been personally planted by him - the famous local mangoes of Rizwan Bagh are coveted and legendary among the old Bhopal families.
