"Wir haben mit unserer kleinen Familie (inkl. Baby) ein paar wunderbare Tage im Hotel in Engelberg verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und perfekt auch mit Baby ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal – man hat sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt. "Das Zimmer mit Sauna war ein Traum und die wunderschöne Atmosphäre haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das überaus zuvorkommende Personal, das jeden unserer Wünsche erfüllt hat – egal, wie klein oder gross. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau gelebt. "We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "

"With free parking area just opposite to hotel. Nice staff and room is clean. 5mins walk to supermarket. Sharing shower room and toilet are also clean, too. Peaceful to stay."

"There’s much to be commended about this hotel. It’s a little distance from the train station and most restaurants, but it’s a beautiful spot with a good view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast is incredible. The only real issue we had (apart from fairly high price) was that the staff was pretty rude just about anytime we interacted with them in any way. We ended up just trying not to ask for anything. Otherwise it was a good stay."
