"The property was clean and beautiful with comfortable beds, excellent room amenities, and a large bathroom. Every area of the property was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed walking through Meadowbrook Park and ate breakfast twice at The Market. The pool is small but we had it to ourselves in the morning! Looks out onto a lake with a fountain…peaceful. Beautiful fire pit areas and patios all around to enjoy the outdoors. This will definitely be where we stay for future KC visits. "

"I loved my stay at ameristar kc. Only issues were they were not able to see my reservstion on gheir end. After 30 minutes trying to figure it out with expedia on the phone, the staff at ameristar decided to comp my room. Ill always be grateful to those employees and how great the room was. "I liked the ease of getting to the hotel and the cleanliness The breakfast was cold most mornings and needed to be microwaved to be hot. When I went to check-in I was told they tried to call me as my card was declined. I corrected the problem and they ran my card with no problem. "Staff friendly. Easy check in.Great breakfast. Room very clean. Only complaint bath towels stored on a rack inside shower that is very high and I couldn't reach them. Luvkily my husband is tall. But our room was an ADA room...how could a person in a wheelchair have managed? Otherwise excellent property very convenient location and we will go there again."

"Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and updated. Good location for the tournament we were in town for. Lost points for very thin walls that made it hard to sleep. Honestly, with earplugs, it would be a five star stay hands down!"

"This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance to many downtown sites. I loved the friendly service, the artistry and the gems I found whilst walking around the neighborhood. (Public Library, River Walk, Convention Center.) I would gladly stay there again."
