Tenemos una hermosa cabaña en 10 acres que bordean el Parque Estatal Ricketts Glen. La cabina está a solo 1/4 de milla del sendero al pie de la montaña. Este parque estatal ofrece hermosas vistas durante todo el año. Ya sea que desee caminar por los 22 senderos de la cascada, alquilar un kayak en el lago Jean o acurrucarse con un buen libro en la playa de arena del lago, ¡tenemos la paz y la tranquilidad con la que ha estado soñando! También hay excelentes bicicletas de montaña, esquí de fondo, raquetas de nieve, trail running y caza. Disfrutará de una relajante experiencia al aire libre en nuestra cabaña. Tenemos un interior confortable con pisos de madera y todas las comodidades del hogar, incluyendo aire acondicionado, lavadora y secadora y televisión. El exterior tiene muchas áreas para sentarse, incluyendo un anillo de fuego y un porche cubierto.
Tenga en cuenta que estamos en el proceso de renovar la casa de montaña de mis abuelos que bordea el parque. Esta casa sería mejor para un grupo más grande de 4 a 8 o una familia que le gusta más espacio. Cuenta con 2 baños, 3 habitaciones y una gran cocina, sala familiar y sala de juegos. Tengo una foto del exterior en este sitio. Haré una página adicional cuando finalicen nuestras renovaciones en los próximos 2 meses.

The home has a lot of natural light and sheer window coverings, so our days got off to an early start. The layout of the home worked well for us, with all three sleeping areas on the second floor. We brought our own bedding and bath towels as instructed by the homeowner, but we did not realize we should also bring hand towels for drying dishes. You’ll want to bring your own spices, coffee and condiments if you plan to eat/cook in the home. Overall the cabin worked well for us, but the house could use a bit of deep cleaning (particularly the bathroom).The location of the cabin was very close to Ricketts Glen, which was perfect since hiking there was the focus of our trip. There was a nice fire pit within the wooded yard that surrounded the home, so that was lovely. (Note: 5 for 10 pieces of wood from the covered wood box if you use those in the fire pit.)Communication with the host was at a minimum during our stay, but we did not mind except when we had a plumbing issue one evening (at about 730 pm) and it took until about 9am to hear back from the homeowner. Fortunately the situation was fixed within hours of hearing back from the host. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

It's a nice place, clean, with all the amenities you'd expect. Host had a fire going for me when I arrived which was much appreciated. Host was responsive and accommodating to my change of plans, having to leave a day early.

Our stay was awesome. The cabin was cozy and very welcoming. The property was amazing. It was very peaceful and the tranquility of the woods made it even better. We loved Rickets Glenn Park and the cabin is very close to the park entrance. Great communication with host. When we arrived, Jeff stopped by and introduced himself. We would come back in a heartbeat.

I took my three teens for a long weekend to Rickettes Glenn to hike the waterfalls. This is a great location with multiple dining choices nearby. The cabin itself is lovely and very comfortable. We had a blast all around!

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more. The peaceful tranquility of the woods only helped to boost the cozy, relaxing environment of the cabin itself. If you're heading to Ricketts Glen yourself to do some hiking or water sports, or maybe just a quiet getaway in the woods, you have GOT to check this cabin out.

This was the perfect vacation location for our trip to Ricketts Glen. The property is very close to the the state park. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Jeff was easy to work with and answered questions quicky. We will definitely be returning!

Nice cabin in the woods near trail head of Ricketts Glen. I especially liked the little gift shop at the cabin the owner provides, as we didn’t find a gift shop at the Glen. When we arrived Jeff introduced himself. Clean and quiet cabin

Adorable cabin in the woods, wish we had more time to sit and enjoy but we're fairly busy with my daughters wedding nearby at Adams Falls. We stayed here with kids ages 4-11 and had my parents stay at the other house, as this house has a spiral staircase and all bedrooms are upstairs. Would stay again.

The cabin was cute and space was well used. I especially enjoyed the porches and walking the little trail behind the cabin in the morning. We LOVED Rickett's Glen State Park and how close we were to it. Jeff was a fantastic host and was so responsive. He even stopped by with something we needed for the kitchen sink. We would come back in a heart beat.

Took a few days off at the beginning of the week to show my children the beautiful waterfalls of Ricketts Glen. I chose this place because of the absolutely perfect location, but there was more than just the location that we loved. The fire pit outback was the perfect setup for mountain pies and s'mores. A huge box of wood, protected from the rain, was available for $5 for 10 pieces. We played Monopoly, cards, and Worst Case Scenario, all of which were in the cabin. We had all the cooking utensils we needed for pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags. We hiked 7 miles one day and it was nice to quickly return to the cabin in less than 5 minutes and rest. There are also several restaurants within 10 minutes as well as a Dollar General, corner store, and gas station. If we come out that way again, we'd definitely try and get this cabin again.
