The Space:

Welcome to Blast From the Past, a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom Sunriver retreat tucked among tall pines and quaking aspens. Vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and oversized forest-view windows make the main living room bright and airy. A stone fireplace, vintage skis, snowshoes and sleds give it classic mountain-lodge charm. A second living area has its own stone hearth and a wall-mounted TV. A state-of-the-art HVAC system keeps the air inside the house fresh and clean, so you can breathe easy all stay long. The fully stocked kitchen has quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, a gas range and a breakfast bar for three. A sliding door opens straight onto the deck.



Upstairs, the bedrooms sleep the whole group comfortably. The primary suite has a king bed, a skylight and a tall corner window bring in filtered forest light. The second and third bedrooms have a king and a queen bed. The fourth bedroom has a double and a single in a bunk-style setup, with a TV and dresser for the kids. Out back, the forested yard is all yours. Step out onto the spacious wood deck with rocking chairs for morning coffee, then fire up the BBQ for dinner as the sun filters through the pines. Every stay feels like a getaway, whatever the season.



Sunriver is one of Central Oregon's best year-round playgrounds, and this home puts you in the middle of it. In summer, bike the resort's extensive network of paved paths, float or paddle the Deschutes River, play a round of golf, go horseback riding, or browse the shops and restaurants at Sunriver Village. The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory is a great stop for families and stargazers. Nearby, you can explore Benham Falls, Lava Lands and the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, or drive into Bend for breweries, dining and more outdoor recreation. In winter, ski or snowboard at Mt. Bachelor, try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, or head to the tubing hill before coming home to a crackling fire.



Every reservation includes 8 passes to the SHARC, the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center, one of the area's top attractions. This 33,000-square-foot, year-round facility has indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, water slides, a social hot tub and tot splash-and-play areas. The grounds also include a cafe, playground, rock climbing wall, bocce ball, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, a disc golf course, and a year-round tubing hill. It sits in the heart of Sunriver, only 5 minutes from the property by car. That makes it easy to head over for a morning swim and be back at the cabin for lunch.
