"While it’s in an industrial area - perfect for the arena nearby - it’s also extremely welcoming, comfortable and family friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) were both standout, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The whole place is very tranquil. We’ll definitely go back. "

"I picked this hotel as we were traveling over by car from the UK and I wanted somewhere with easy parking and late check in. The hotel was perfect for this we didn’t arrive until 11.30pm and the keys were ready for us and the parking was plentiful. Breakfast was great I had a delicious omelette. We jumped into an uber €15 and went into Ghent. Ghent is a wonderful city it was hosting a huge music festival. Wish we were staying longer. "Good base and a close walk to all local sites. Staff were very helpful. Easy onsite parking."

"The room was better than expected! Very elegant, has a jacuzzi as well and everything that you need into a room. Also very warm since it has a well working sir conditioning. Also they provide a very nice breakfast both salty and sweet and you can also have lunch a dinner if you'd like to. I just give 4 star for the staff since when I did the check-in, the guy was rushing and just asked me my name, trusted my word (well I'm glad that he trusted me but I'm just saying this for the hotel's safety...

"We stayed in the Suds & Soda apartment. Perfect for the 2 of us and the dog for 2 nights. Fantastic location with wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars all on the doorstep plus it's a really easy walk into Ghent centre. "

"I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and...
