The hotel itself was clean, had a unique style, and met our needs. We also took advantage of the laundry service while we were there, which worked out very well. "Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again."

"A lovely old house with excellent bedrooms and kitchen area. The little private garden at the rear was very pleasant to sit in. Polo is a very helpful host. There are a lot of roadworks going on in the area but further into the old town are all the great sights and restaurants. "

"The hotel is very clean, beautiful, and spacious. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, and the staff made us feel at home. Breakfast was also very good. There is underground parking available, and if you stay at the hotel, you can validate at the reception for £10 per day, which I think is very reasonable."

"Close to the centre and convenient (if not tight) parking. The room smelt damp though, especially the bathroom which was unpleasant and meant we needed to open a window regularly. There was no extraction in the bathroom so we think this was why."

"Location a significant attraction. Short walk to restaurants and to many of the sites in the city centre, yet not overly busy right around the hotel. Easy to get to if you're driving. Parking about 100 metres away for 15 euros daily."
