This home is located on 3.8 acres in Bedford, WY, with breath taking views of Strawberry Creek Canyon and the broader valley, known as Star Valley. The home is approximately 1 mile from the wild and rugged Bridger-Teton National Forest, is 20 miles from the beautiful Palisades Reservior, an Alpine lake and watershed to the Snake River, and is 60 miles from Jackson Hole. The home is tucked on the East-side of Bedford, is surrounded by mountains and is home to innumerable wild game, world class fishing and is a mecca for outdoor adventure, including hiking, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, etc.

Beautiful Wyoming

This house was immaculate and comfy. We enjoyed the hummingbirds, horses, and beautiful surroundings. We visited the Grand Tetons , which was further than anticipated, but worth the drive.

My family and I traveled to Calgary to celebrate mine and my wife's 30th wedding anniversary in June 2025. My daughter brought along her boyfriend. The home was immaculate. The room in the basement was perfect for my daughter's boyfriend as it permitted him some privacy and even his own kitchenette. The appliances were new and in perfect working order. It was wonderful to cook in such a well organized kitchen. We spent some time in Banff and Kootenay. Hiking trails and enjoying some of the city atmosphere. Perfect location for enjoying Calgary and the surrounding area.

Cabin life

Couple Get-a-Way

We were SO happy we found this place! Star Valley is beautiful and this was the perfect place to relax and get out and enjoy the sights and activities. It was stocked with everything! The home is beautifully furnished and was spotless. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. We'd like to go back someday.

So relaxing!

Perfect place to stay for some quiet down time. Close enough (hour ish) to bigger places that if you need or want something, you can get it. (My husband needed socks, so went to Jackson to go to Target). The drive between towns was so calming and pretty. My favorite part was drinking coffee on the patio in the mornings and having hummingbirds do flyby's. The hosts were great and even left us some treats! We definitely want to come back. Thank

National Parks Trip

We really enjoyed this quiet, peaceful property. The place had everything we needed and we were very comfortable there after a few long days touring the national parks. Rodney was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Wyoming Paradise

The house was so cute tucked away on wonderful property. Very clean and had lots of small amenities (soaps, lotions and kitchen items) which made it nice. Rod was very nice and gave us lots of suggestions on sites to see in the Tetons and Yellowstone. I would definitely recommend this place. Loved being able to look out and watch the deer and horses in the yard. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing oasis in beautiful small town atmosphere

This place is idyllic!!! So very comfortable and cozy! Very private. The hosts have thought of every detail one would need for a beautiful stay. The book was loaded with activities in the area and we saw deer out the window on the property next door! Feels like being inside a storybook. Just perfect! Would definitely stay again!!!

Peaceful

A great place to chill out and enjoy nature. Foals and their mothers were an extra plus. Cabin was as if someone just walked out the door with well stocked everything. The welcome note and ice in the freezer was a special touch that made us feel welcomed when we arrived. Owner was a joy to chat with. One of the best places we've stayed. Thank you.

Private & well appointed cottage

We absolutely loved our stay. Not only were the property owners friendly and knowledgeable about the area but they were kind and friendly. By far the most well appointed VRBO we've visited. Location is beautiful. Many close short walks or if you bring your side by side, you can find trails close to the cottage. Or... jump in your car and head to Star Valley or Jackson Hole. Great food in neighboring town of Afton WY (Who would have thought!) We'll be back to visit again.

Peaceful Oasis

We have stayed in VRBOs for 5x the price and no where near as nice. Lovely and comfortable home, exquisite setting, wonderful owners. The babbling creek, wildlife and stunning mountain valley setting. Charming roadside towns with surprisingly good food (Graze and Rocky Mountain Seafood were stand outs). A “10+” in every respect. If your travels bring you south of Jackson, don’t miss an opportunity to stay in this home!
