What a fabulous place to stay! We loved everything about it! It was so warm and inviting, and yes, quirky too! We 100% recommend this rental whole-heartedly! You will love it!

We were traveling with our 3 kids. This was a fun place to stay. Everyone loved the uniqueness. It was clean and comfortable. Would love to come back some time. Close to Waterford for fun in the city (we went to a soccer match) or just as close to great hiking in the country. Thank you for allowing us to stay, def

What a unique property!

This old church has been restored lovingly into a fun and charming place to stay in the country side near Waterford. It was well appointed and we enjoyed our stay.

It was a great place to stay and very historic and would recommend it. The only thing to consider is if you stay there when the temp is below 15C they need to turn the heat up to 100% as it is cold and takes awhile to heat up. Not a negative, just a preparation.

We used this church as a base of operations and did day trips. It was a lovely place to come back to and would stay here again. Lovely time!

Private getaway

This property is picture perfect from the entrance to the comfortable beds! This church is on its own private property the only neighbor in sight are the head stones of history gone by. We also got to see a pair of foxes to top off the perfect relaxing stay!

Perfect old Gothic Church

Beautifully restored church that sits on a wonderful plot of land and cemetery. The hosts were so friendly and did every thing they could to make us feel at home. We had a wonderful time and would return anytime!

We really enjoyed our stay. The church was beautiful and they had all the amenities that we needed. Carmel was super friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

A Unique Treasure!

We had a fantastic stay at the Gothic Church. It was a cozy getaway outside of town. The shower was warm with good pressure. We voted the upstairs bed the most comfortable on our trip! Carmel was a fantastic host with so many ideas about what to see and do, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants.

Beautiful

The church is just as pictured. Owners did a great job in the renovations, keeping much of the original architectural features. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.

Wonderful space - so unique, but also very comfortable. This is an ingenious restoration that is beautifully rendered. You're only about 20-25 minutes outside Waterford by car - an easy commute and there is plenty of parking right by the river. You're not far from the coastal towns of Ireland's Ancient East, which are well worth the drive. This is a great central location and such a fun place to stay. We loved it!

An Enchanting Experience

We are in awe of what a beautiful renovation was done while still retaining the key structure of the church. Such a beautiful setting with a warm fire and some wine was just what these weary travelers needed.
