This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom modern, open concept home boasts a fully stocked kitchen, Wifi, spacious bedrooms and living areas that are perfect to relax and reconnect in. Television with chrome cast is available when you need a break from the beautiful view of 125 feet of direct waterfront with a dock. The lake is great for swimming, and water sports so bring all your toys!

TRIP OF A LIFETIME - HOUSE & PROPERTY IS PERFECTION!!!

5 in total, in our 50’s and 60’s! The house was amazing, so clean and spacious, comfortable beds, fully stocked with what a kitchen needs, great fire pit and area to sit down at the dock. Elise was always prompt with any questions we had. From the minute we walked in the front door, the view was breathtaking. All of us can’t say enough about this property and it was close to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. It was sad leaving and would never hesitate to rebook it again! Thank you Elise as it was a long awaited sibling trip and spouses that we will NEVER forget!!!!

Sisters at Heart

It was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, it felt like a home. Plenty of room for 5 ladies. Lake was refreshing, wished we had booked it for longer.

Perfect vacation house

9/10. Perfect vacation house. Great location. Fully stocked and even lots of supplies, food and drink leftover from other guests. Lake was super clean and great to swim in with fantastic views from the house and back yard. Only 2 improvement points and this would have been perfect: 1. Their was no firewood left! Owner said they would get some but it never arrived. We were able to get enough deadwood in the surrounding forest but wasn’t ideal. 2. Place would have been 100% amazing with some kayaks, paddleboards, etc which we really missed.

Grand chalet agréable à séjourner

Le chalet est grand et adapté à recevoir plusieurs personnes pour que chacun ait son espace. Lac très propre et agréable à la baignade. Tous ont apprécié notre semaine!

Thanksgiving in Mahone Bay

Had a wonderful stay. Relaxed on the dock by the lake, had a thanksgiving meal in the best stocked kitchen we’ve stayed at. It was enjoyed by all 10 of us.

Great location for a group of family/people

The VRBO was very good but due to Hurricane Lee we were out of power for 2 1/2 days so not set up for this scenario, a small generator would have definitely been good to have at the home mainly for the Fridges & water! We were able to manage but had to ask for drinking water and propane of which extra should have been available on site plus back up light, candles and flashlights need to be in home!

Beautiful quiet lakeside getaway

We stayed for a long weekend and it was beautiful. The house is meticulously kept and very clean (I’m a clean freak) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked as others had said. The layout was perfect. All but one bedroom has views of the lake. The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. We’re hoping to come back again soon. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful Labour Day Weekend

We stayed over Labour Day Weekend and had a great time. It was a great space for a big group of friends or family. The lake was warm and fire pit was great. We'd go back again!

Fabulous vacation

Our stay to this property was for a 3 generation family trip. The cottage was easy to find and check-in instructions were very clear. The inside was quite well stocked and very clean. Overall, it was exactly as advertised and when we reached out to the owner with questions she was very responsive. As an added bonus, sunrises and sunsets were phenominal!!

Family vacation

We had eight people plenty of room for all comfortably..absolutely stunning view!! Would definitely book again..only discrepancy would be garbage regulations..apparently each county is different.and no dock to jump into the water, however i believe it just wasnt set up yet..however it had everything we needed..

Lakefront Paradise

This place was as advertised. Well appointed kitchen and very thankful for the games provided as they gave us hours of fun as we waited out several days of rain. We wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the lake a little more. Having said that we did get some great pictures of the sunset over the lake. Thank you so much for sharing your great location. We will be back.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

The property was amazing. Beds were all comfortable. View was unbeatable. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchens of anywhere we have ever stayed. Look forward to staying here again.

Fabulous fall getaway

Our group of 9 senior, female, long-time friends from childhood really enjoyed this place. It was perfect, with lots of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all, as well as a spacious open-concept kitchen, dining and living area for cooking and hanging out together. And, with lots of windows for a fabulous view. We would definitely recommend it. Our host was very responsive. Excellent overall.

Exactly what we were looking for

The house was great. Large enough for four adults to have their own space. The house was well equipped. The water view when you enter the property was spectacular. The lake was quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Enjoyed the multiple outdoor seating areas and fire pit. The owner was very responsive when needed.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature

Great location on a beautiful lake. Close to restaurants, stores and ocean beaches. The house is big and modern. Three bathrooms are exceptional in a Nova Scotia cottage. Elise was there for anything we needed but it was nothing major just minor details. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are going to book for next year right away.

Great location

This property is a great location for Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. It was wonderful to be on the water and had great outdoor seating for the whole family. The kitchen was well stocked for the home cools. It was a great stay.

Beautiful Lake Front Property

We were 8 family members staying at this property. The views and location were excellent. Comfortable beds and air conditioned was appreciated. Loved the water cooler, so nice to arrive and have cold water available to us. We would return to this property. Only suggestion would be to provide soap in showers.

Perfect House, Perfect Location!

Our families truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful location which had easy access to other tourist spots close by. The house was light and airy, spacious with lots of room for larger groups. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary utensils and dishes for our large group. The lake was beautiful with clear water for swimming or fishing. Elise, the owner, was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We’d certainly love to come back for another visit.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic family getaway and this house worked perfectly for us. Very clean with everything you could possibly need and the host was incredible to work with - very quick to respond to questions and beyond accommodating. The lake is beautiful and was great for swimming and kayaking and we certainly enjoyed the spacious fire pit area. The only challenge we found was for those with any slight mobility issues it wasn’t possible to get to the water as the ramp to the dock was very steep and the dock too unstable for the elder members of our family.

Great spot for a family get away

Lovely new property, well stocked kitchen essentials, lots of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the lake, were able to dock the small boat we brought and the fire pit in the evenings was a great end to the day. Very convenient to drive to nearby towns like Lunenbury and Mahone Bay.

Family Trip with Ease

With the Atlantic bubble being an option for travel with family the search started & finding this property was a true gem. The house and location are absolutely perfect for a family looking to sit back and relax or take a swim or take short drive into town to see the local sights. After reading a previous review of no dining table we were pleasantly surprised to find one upon our arrival. The one thing we found was the couple of family members who have light mobility issues found getting out of the beds a little harder where they are so close to the floor but they had the best nights sleep. We will certainly be back to the property at our first chance again it is an absolute great spot to enjoy any time of the year
